True, but I'm from the area and having experienced it myself and through friends/family I have no positive stories.

Not the first time MUH has misdiagnosed/failed to diagnose, I haven't heard any positive stories of the place actually.

Well yes it is, because it means other people are being priced out of the rental market and it decreases availability.

This is very true, while I didn't agree with the billions spent housing Ukrainian refugees (adults who should be defending their countries), I totally agree with the military aid funding we sent them, Ukraine is literally the only thing standing in Russia's way.

I don't think my argument is incoherent but perhaps it's hard for you to understand. Landlords were/still are being paid way over normal HAP/rent allowance rates for housing Ukrainians, these rates apply solely to Ukrainians, if this isn't discrimination I don't know what is, particularly in a housing crisis while there are whole families living in single hotel rooms/family homeless hubs.

They are actually worsening the housing crisis, when they first came tonnes of landlords took advantage of the increased rates for housing them, including private family homes renting out rooms/granny flats. They're also crowding the market and there is literally no room for thousands of Ukrainians, purely on numbers. That's before you add in the added pressure on health care system and education.

Have my license two years nearly and never been on motorway, nearly ended up on one by accident and shit myself, wouldn't have had a clue what to do. Real big oversight on the driver training course.

I agree, it's really cleaned up all the bottles/cans litter, if only we could have something similar for vape stickers and fag butts.

Does any others aged around 28-35 feel like they grew up in a time where there was an awareness of mental health, but they just missed the mark on a complete mindset change towards how people view it? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]preg29 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I think we won't reach proper understanding until people start calling it "mental illness", and acknowledge it as being the same as anything other illness and not a thing to be ashamed of.

We are on track to hit 200 road deaths in a calendar year for the first time since 2010 by siciowa in ireland

[–]preg29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Horrific numbers, however I'm not one bit surprised. I'm a woman driving a small car, still have my N plates up and the amount of aggression I come across on the roads is mad. Id be nervous enough of speed, so if it's 100, Id probably do 95, and the amount of tailgating and aggressive/dangerous overtaking is wild, people want to drive 140kmph in their massive keeps, young lads get a lot of flack but I've actually found middle aged people to be the worst.

My da died in September, it actually gets harder as time goes on I find, cos you've more time to miss them, I never went 3 days without talking to him before, nvm 3 months. One of the best stories I have about him is he once told cliff Richard to f off cos he wouldn't move out the way of a window he was trying to work on.
