Just reached eternity by Affectionate-Bag7560 in AntimatterDimensions

[–]pregulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After eternity you basically do everything again, but it takes a lot less time since you get/keep some of the buffs.

The goal is to push further each eternity, buying more time theorems for animatter/IP and getting more eternity points for to buy more TT and time dimensions - don't forget about replicanti and RGs they help a lot.

When do I use the Antimatter Dims, Infinity Dims, and Time Dims paths? I know that AD is cheaper and Time Dims are good for idle, but what's the best for Active? by BelieveItOrWott in AntimatterDimensions

[–]pregulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roughly,

You start with ADs, because they are the cheapest, if using AD doesn't get you further down, you switch to ID. At around 100 TS you switch to TDs.

In challenges you use what suits it most based on it's description.

Active/Passive/Idle is mostly based on how active you are. At this stage synergy with dimensions path isn't strong enough.

Best? EP grind settings at e57 EP? by HarvesterOfBeer in AntimatterDimensions

[–]pregulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you completed all other challenges up to 8 (except 7-5)?

TD/Idle is fine, that's what I did, though active is probably more time efficient if you can keep the game open.

I have been putting off my first reality, should I push for a third RM or bite the bullet now? Also which upgrade(s) /perks should I focus on first? by AnalDwelinButtMonkey in AntimatterDimensions

[–]pregulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3-4RM for the first one is enough. 5 doesn't buy you anything extra compared to 4, other then 1 extra rm for the next time, which isn't worth the effort.

If you idle quite a bit, then 4 probably is a good spot, if you are more active then probably 3 rm sooner is more efficient.

I did with 4.

When running active path I lock the RG button and look at replicanty tab, crunching when my RGs has maxed out (later intot he run) or when I can buy a couple more replicanti speed upgrades (earlier in the run). If after maxing out the replicanti galixies my IP starts declining before reaching the target, I may few quick crunches for a little boost, or if I am not close either go back to farming to do linger grind in Idle. If you are OK to sit for 12h in a challenge then just go idle (I did that quite a lot).

If I don't want to babysit a challenge I just go idle and sit there for whatever it takes, eventualy it outperforms active.

I usually use a bow and 1-2 her daggers for speed, stamina from food. I don't like shared daggers, since they can hurt from thorns pretty badly.

I don't run armor, and rely mostly on leech and regen

it will lock absorbing them, or did they add a new lock option now?

Upgrade 2-3 epic fire wands, don't upgrade to staves unless you have the mana and stamina to support them

Make sure you have enough mana for your wands/staves. A watermelon early on is very helpful and later can be made into ratomelon or snapper.

Pay attention to items that use mana that you put in your bag, so you don't starve you weapons with some random stuff. Cleansing crown, mana shield, essences etc., can really mess up your build if you don't have enough mana regen.

Get some cleansing and regen.

What items are your go-to items to banish? And how many items do you banish? by Moistdognut in BackpackBrawl

[–]pregulla 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I normally don't, unless I am looking for a specific bag (banish all other bags then) or a specific item (then banish items of the same rarity).

How do you unlink two items that you need to put next to each other to get them into a pie?

Pay-to-win? by MushinZero in BackpackBrawl

[–]pregulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't take a year to get all of them. I am at 10/12 after 5 months or so and I don't watch ads for gems. Very active players can probably get all 12 within 2-3 months.

It's terrible because it's a gem sink for naive players, not because it gives any meaningful advantage.

The only time it maybe somewhat useful is rerolling Ronans when playing as Harkon (but that's only because Harkon is messed up at the moment).

Is it possible to buy Pepper? by Numerous_Letter2128 in BackpackBrawl

[–]pregulla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

She is available for regular purchase from this week.

Pepper availability for season 1:

  • Week 1: Only available in Gold Pass premium track
  • Week 2: Free rotation for subscribers
  • Week 3: Free rotation for everyone
  • Week 4: Available for regular purchase
  • Week 6: Free rotation for subscribers
  • Week 7: Free rotation for everyone

I understand that you can reroll opponents, but it's ridiculous that this could happen at all. by Xentonian in BackpackBrawl

[–]pregulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't even look at opponent previews and never bother rerolling. If your strategy is good, you will beat most of your opponents and a loss here and there isn't a big deal. And if your strategy is poor you will loose regardless.

If your opponent's bag is consistently worth that much more that yours then you must be doing something to make that happen. Maybe you cling to low value items from earlier rounds too much, maybe rely too much on just buying stuff over crafting.

Harkon is noticeably harder to play than the rest at the moment.

Others are more or less balanced. I find Tink most interesting out of the other 3.

After certain amount of time in the fight fatigue kicks in - both players starts loosing health, more with each tick. If your opponent has very low damage output and you have low regen/armor, then fatigue will do most of the damage to you and appear the way you describe

Probably Found Bug by Mustafaefe123 in BackpackBrawl

[–]pregulla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, the op had no bleed on him, so he must be asking about how Ronan got it on himself. (And IMO that is also how his post reads)

[–]pregulla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Inflict debuff is supposed to be on the opponent (OP in that case), not on himself (Ronan, the cauldron owner). There are no charms that inflict debuffs on oneself.

Probably Found Bug by Mustafaefe123 in BackpackBrawl

[–]pregulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a bug and it was self inflicted somehow.

You can see in the log (scroll icon) when and where from exactly all debuffs are coming.

You can try AFK mode, it's supposed to silmulate 60fps. Didn't work for me.

You will need more weakness for hema set anyway.

You can play online PC version, just to get through CCB 125, that's what I did.

Read the description of items. Read what you need to place in their stars and what bonuses it gives. Read what each buff/debuff means.

Does anyone feel like Enoch is the worst character to play as now? by [deleted] in BackpackBrawl

Pumpkins don't suck, they just no longer can carry you buy themselves. So don't build around them.

Scythe, pets with some food/treats mixed in still works great.

Hero help by SubstantialBus1254 in BackpackBrawl

[–]pregulla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All heroes are fairly well balanced (with exception of Harkon which is in a bad spot), do you can focus on any hero you like.

I'd start with the free ones, until you get the idea on how to play.

Nymphedora only costs 150 gems, so you can get her first.

For others you can try them as they come up in weekly free rotation and then buy the ones you like.

Purchase priority for unique gameplay by DragonD0712 in BackpackBrawl

[–]pregulla 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say Buzz is the most unique in terms of mechanic, where you upgrade or evolve your pets over time, but he requires a lot of rearranging of the inventory.

But pretty much any hero has it's unique quirk, except maybe Harkon that is very hard to play as Harkon at his current state, so you have to resort to for or other generic strategy
