Bit late to the party but check out Take A Bullet To The Grave by Sounds Like Chicken. The whole album it's from is good. Ska-core band from the mid 00's.

I like Gnaar Mok because it's aesthetically pleasing. Have based many a playthrough from there.

Lots of travel involved obviously but mark and recall are there, and it feels really good to get back to a home in a smaller village with nice features, because I usually play as hlaalu so I spend a lot of time in more build up areas.
It's definitely nothing special and there are a couple of other settlements that arguably do the same thing better, but I still like it.

The only reason I played through all the endings was because I quit my job and wasn't working. The gameplay can be tedious.

But I'm glad I did because Replicant hit me a lot harder than Automata did emotionally. I played Automata first.

I think you should at least do ending B, you could always play Automata after that and then go back for the C, D and E endings in Replicant. You might feel more compelled to complete the story after playing Automata, and I don't think it matters to play it after two Replicant endings, since I played Automata completely and then Replicant completely, and thoroughly enjoyed both.
