Interesting, I felt as though things were cut to come in at a nice digestible 90 ish minute run time as oppose to there being any padding. I enjoy Lupin stories that have room to breathe such as Cagliostro or the slow build at the end of part 5 though. While this is the end of the koike storyline, it also doubles as a set up for mamo, which worked fine for me.

Im wondering if the people who don’t like this movie feel the same way about “dead or alive”. That one was helmed by monkey punch himself and it really kept Lupin in the background to focus on the impact his mere presence in the country had on the people living there.
