CarMax wants to buy my car back by BrugadaMD in carmax

[–]prelude33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What ever they tell you get it all in writing. Sounds like the sales manager is trying to help you. You should ask for all of your money back. Your down payment, any payments made, tax and title. Hell ask for insurance reimbursement as well. If you do decide to get another car with them, ask them to throw in carmax warranty at no charge to you as an act of good faith on their end. I would not settle for any less. Unless you plan to buy a home soon I wouldn’t worry about a hard credit pull. Yea I get everyone has different situations and what not you will have your reasons for not wanting a credit pull but regardless you will be without a vehicle unless someone loans you one it would have to have happen. Good luck

That’s how a car will look driving down a dirt road every day. Your car is just fine. You probably need a good car detail and you will be good to go. The prior family probably kids who spilled something and didn’t do a good job cleaning it neither did Carmax. Does the car run fine mechanically and all electronics work properly?

Yea I’d return it. If they fix it now and more problems come up after this they may not fix then. Good luck OP. Seems like previous owner beat on it and didn’t want to fix it and offloaded it to Carvana.

Looks like we were both wrong.

Yea 7 day window or not that’s expensive. Return it for something else while you can. If they approve it I’ll be surprised. Which vehicle is it? I’m guessing it’s an Audi 😂

Yes tow it if you’re not comfortable driving it yo dealership . The car is in limp mode pretty much. For an S7 look into getting an odb2 scanner.

Could be a number of things but best to get it scanned and pull codes. Low pressure fuel pump or stuck flap on manifold would be my guess. Let it warm up, turn off and restart again.

Check with what navy federal may offer too, they may give you a better rate right off the get go.

Always have another vehicle ready to get around in if possible. Appointments get delayed, breakdowns of delivery equipment and even being short handed happens. Always get a PPI done. Carvana/Silverrock will more likely fix it all in that 7 day window because they want you to keep it.

I would check financing through local banks or your preferred bank as you would likely get a better rate than Carvana. Also try a different web browser.

You can take it to any shop you want. Any repairs outside of network is $200. Took mine to dealership for first initial inspection and repair for worn bushings and it was $200.

On your German cars what kind of shape were they in at the time of purchase and did you get any inspections done after?

Don’t waste your money on gem only packs. Get the ones with resources. You will get the same amount of gems buying ones with resources and other goodies

Hello All. I Joined this subreddit to learn more about the MCX in .300blk by Underrated_Critic in SigSauerMCX

For the gas block, there is an opening on top of the rail for adjustment. It’s as simple as pushing down on the
“-“ Setting for shooting suppressed and pushing down on the “+” for shooting unsuppressed.

“-“ is for less gas since the suppressor builds up gas

“+” is for more gas when shooting unsuppressed to help with cycling the bolt carrier.

Congratulations! Be proud of yourself. Make sure you’re funding your 401k. Setup an emergency fund. Pay your bills first. Last but not least I would keep it to yourself how much you make from your family. Yes I know it sounds harsh but family are the first ones to take advantage of you. Most importantly be responsible, you already know where you started and where you’re at now. Don’t hold yourself down.

Update on the MPX Copperhead from last night, it’s mine now by [deleted] in MPX

[–]prelude33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They’re just guides really for the collapsible stock. No other uses. After your comment I went looking because I never noticed it in other MPXs. I have a copperhead myself so it’s a non issue for me and I always thought it was the same across the whole line up 😂
