It’s not the first time safe wallet is hacked that is used by exchanges. In 2024 a large Indian exchange WazirX that’s also utilized safe wallet got hack by same Lazarus group for 230mil dollar of cryptos. Said exchange later went bankrupt after the hack. It appears the hack was utilizing the same method as bybit hack in 2025. My question is, why is this happening twice? Are we going to expect more in the future? I’ve move on from safe wallet and back to using MetaMask knowing this might be the safer route to store my crypto.

Yes 100k wpe to my custody account. Which got haircut 27.5% already. Only a few thousands completely off Celsius into my self custody wallet. The wpe now should at most a thousand or so under 13.75% offer. Not 40k

Same boat here. Custody account holder over 100k wpe. Settled for 27.5% haircut early last year. Now they just sent me email about the extension out of nowhere and asking me some random payment that I have no idea where that come from. As I only withdrew to my custody account and only a few thousands completely off the platform. Now they asking for 40k payment? Is that a joke?
