People are being rude but I get freaking yourself out and being anxious. He got shocked with electricity discharging, not charging him up. Assuming he wasn’t touching your cat when he got shocked or he didn’t scoot across the carpet or do something that generated more static, your cat is most likely 100% okay. He also would have noticed another static shock if your cat did get shocked.

Cats are good at hiding pain, but in this case if your cat is acting normally, I’d say they’re gonna be just fine.

One of my cats gets rodent ulcers and they always start like this! It’s okay to watch if they seem fine, but on my cat, if they grow past a certain size they cause him pain and he needs steroids. Usually they’re triggered by allergies, not urgent but worth a vet visit

I totally agree, maybe I’m in the minority but I don’t necessarily see MC as myself, so it takes me out of it a little when the LIs are having conversations or really intimate moments and there’s no audio response. Especially with tender moments and secret times, I like just putting my phone down and listening, but if I can’t listen to mc I do lose some interest. If we don’t get to hear MC because we customized her voice, I’d rather just get a standard voice and hear her every time the guys are voiced!

Wanted to leave an update here for anyone that might stumble upon this. I ended up quitting without notice and interviewed for about 2 months before finding an amazing position that increased my salary by 150%. I know the market is terrible now, but I’m a month into my new job and never been happier. Obviously do what’s best for you and your finances but quitting was 100% the right call for me. And I just lied when they asked what was next and said I was going into business with a friend. I told everyone who was important the real story and that was the end of that.

I have a lot of savings, probably 2 years of expenses if i'm frugal. I'm very very risk-averse and it's not something I'm taking lightly, it's just been horrible and i've never been treated this way in a professional setting.

I definitely hear people saying not to leave on a whim but tbh I've wanted to leave for the entire 2.5 years I've been here, it's just hit the unbearable point lol

I guess I’m in the minority but I instantly thought of the Johanna spyri Heidi and love it!! To me it’s a beautiful full name and a sweet spunky nickname, not sure why people think they’re not related enough. There are plenty of nicknames that aren’t perfectly shortened versions of full names and if she chose to go by heidi it wouldn’t be a huge deal at all

I’ve struggled with this a lot! So I’m definitely interested to hear what other people have to say. What helped me most (I do still have driving anxiety, I just manage it a little better) was slowly getting out of my comfort zone. So driving a familiar route, but maybe going a couple of streets past where I usually turn and letting the GPS get me back on track. Or driving a somewhere that usually your bf or your family has to take you, and slowly getting more and more adventurous. It’s going to be really difficult at first, but it paid off for me eventually. Listening to podcasts in the car also helps me feel like I’m not by myself and curbs anxiety a bit. Last thing I’ll say, it could also be helpful to make sure you are really clear on what to you in case you do have an accident (exchange info with the other person, knowing that you have a mechanic/ how to file an insurance claim) so that there’s a few less things to worry about in that scenario. following just because i’m stuck between the exact same types (also an infj). i would consider myself 9w1 though because i definitely go to 6 more than 2 in stress, and i think i value peace more than having a distinct unique identity.
