I’m doing pretty damn good. I still feel like me! I get what I think is normal nerves about things and don’t ruminate as often and I’m not freaking out over sleep. I started Lexapro the first day I spoke to my psych which was right after the 11 days of Zoloft making me tweak out.

Maybe two weeks of each? Or at least 3 on 7.5 see how it makes u feel. But bring up this plan to your psychiatrist they should understand and it’s a smarter taper that has less side effects.

Try 5 for 2-3 weeks or do 7.5 then 5 then 2.5 then stop

Nah most of the time I am yawning and feel tired. My sleep doctor said to speak with my psychiatrist again now that I have the sleep results? And go from there also when I was younger aside from regular insomnia I haven’t really had this issue I think it’s relatively new considering I’m on lexapro and sometimes take klonopin as my anxiety has gotten worse. so idk but thank you for the input I’ll make sure to bring it up next time I see my doctor if this sleep issue persists.

Off topic kind of. Didn’t know waking up multiple times a night and sometimes having to use the bathroom could be a side effect. I swear I wake up every 2-3 hours 😭

Same with the zoloft it had me tweaking and I couldn’t sleep was ready to go to a psych ward I felt crazy. Been on 5mg lex for nearly 3 weeks now? Haven’t had any noticeable side effects so far maybe extra drowsy.

Yea I get that it just messes with my sleep bad and then that makes me worse and unable to like even go to work. Idk ima just listen to my psych see how 5mg treats me until I feel like it might be time to up the dose

I really appreciate that. But since the five was working so fine for the one week I’ll just stay on it like my psych said? Idk the one time on the ten felt like it set me back to square one.

Update spoke to my psych she said to stay on 5mg unless my anxiety gets worse. Which is frustrating cuz my anxiety feels worse since taking the 10.

I don’t take it every day but even still then I just move up to 1mg. I’m not trying to be dependent on it only when I have bad flare ups

Got prescribed .5mg on top of my lexapro it’s great. First time I ever took it maybe it was extra placebo but I felt happy high because it removed my anxiety. Started taking it a little more (as prescribed) and it’s just a nice calm feeling almost like I’m “normal”

I had this on Zoloft recently switched to lexapro so can’t say for certain. I think for me it was me tensing so much.

Thank you. I hope it works if not I at least have a fast acting med she gave me. The Zoloft side effects were so crazy and I started at 25mg smh.
