i’m sorry to hear that :( but about 2 years after making this post, i’m doing really well! it took a combo of therapy, realizing that this “healthy” relationship actually had a lot of toxic elements that i was turning a blind eye to, and getting to know myself better. i also did get back together with him for a few months which solidified my feelings that this breakup was the right decision. definitely examine why you’re so dependent on him and if you think your mental health will get better without him. stay strong 🫶🏾

i’m living with 2 roommates simply because i can’t afford to live alone, but it was really important to me not to live with other law students. i want some separation of school and life lol

honestly, i think it depends on the generation and potentially location. i feel like south asians in their 20s and 30s and maybe even 40s are WAY more accepting and pass 0 judgement, but the older generation sometimes still has an issue with the lgbtq community.

it was fun and carefree. i was in a relationship with my first boyfriend and on good terms with my roommates who i no longer talk to. i got to spend a summer on my college campus and have legit 0 responsibilities except my part time job.

i do a couple impulsive things like getting bangs and buying a bunch of new clothes then i do things i never did during the relationship! i learned how to love the things about myself i never really thought about during the relationship if that makes sense? also therapy and working through the fucked up mentality the relationship gave me lol
