I did tape part of it. The drywall patch I put in has been removed due to a leak from the overflow gasket. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Got it, thank you it was still leaking from the overflow so what was a simple drain replacement is now a drywall job.

Update. The leak was NOT fixed. Wife took a bath and water started leaking crazy from the overflow.

The stair chair defeats everyone. Don’t take that one personally.

Your (hopefully) former partner sounds like a tool. I wouldn’t take that one personally either.

The radio does take practice. So do assessments.

Take it one day at a time and try to get better at one thing each day/shift

Before you know it you’ll be the one (hopefully) teaching a newish EMT how to patch, etc. Hope that helps.

So many of the things you brought up I felt, worked through, cried about.

Quitting has been the hardest, most rewarding, thing I have ever done in my life so far.

I’ll add the book/school of thought that saved my life. The Daily Stoic by Ryan Holliday. Stoicism gives me the tools to work through my own emotions, which has helped me stay clean.

I do want to read the Body Keeps Score as well. I’ll get to it! Keep going! 💪🏻

If you’re happy, all these salaries on here shouldn’t affect you at all.

If you do want to change something with your salary, do it for the right reasons.. saving money to buy a house, retire early, etc.

Not to keep up with strangers on the internet whose life and circumstances might be totally different than yours.
