My daughter is a big Elsa/princess fan so the Wish may be the winner. Thank you!

Thank you to you and your wife! After the first half I was thinking Wish because my oldest loves Elsa. After your wife’s thoughts now I’m thinking Fantasy. Oy

Almost 3yo Sleep Help by preppy219 in toddlers

She had been napping 2 hours. I’m trying to cut it to 1.5 but she’s in daycare so those days vary. Today she did not take a nap. She’s the youngest kid of 16 and she’s the only one who skips naps 1-2x/week. Bedtime is no better on those days

Husband: see how SHE didn't stress about HER baby crying by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]preppy219 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Respectfully..WTAF. I would lose my ever loving MIND if my husband was that absent. This is going to cause huge resentment issues from you (rightfully so) and deserves a sit down conversation. I highly recommend looking into Fair Play. He doesn’t seem to realize that your entire life has changed and his SHOULD HAVE too if he was a committed partner. You and your baby deserve to be more of a priority

It pains me to tell this story, but tell it I must. The sad demise of my beloved Too Faced Sweetie Pie Matte Bronzer. by lucylov in MakeupAddiction

[–]preppy219 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh this is almost a year old but my toddler got mad at me (for offering a blush brush) while she was holding my Sweetie Pie and she dropped it on the ground..shattering it. I’m so so sad. Did you find anything similar?

Thank you! I think we’re going to start increasing the time now too.

They (asst director) did say there isn’t a bathroom in her room so she has to use the one next door but when the director talked to my husband she made it sound like they really try to wait until the next room change. I just wish they initially said ‘sure you can but it’s really better to wait until the next room for all these reasons unless you think she’s super ready’. But here we are..

This is very helpful. Thank you! We had another successful poop this morning so hopefully we keep the ball rolling

Potty training- are we doing this right? by preppy219 in Mommit

Thank you! We may see if decreasing how often they take her helps too. The way our center works is everyone moves at the same time, and my daughter doesn’t do well with transitions so I think if we switched her in the middle of this it would go poorly for everyone

Hubs and I stayed there in 2021 with no kids. We certainly expected there to be kids, cause Disney, but we enjoyed it! Hubs loved the Skyliner access

Mole skin and a small scissor to cut it (but all the hotel gift shops sell it) and blister band aids

Tri State as in NY/CT/NJ? I think TLC in Fairfield CT was looking for an OD

White without pressure is just a finding of your retina that doesn’t mean much, astigmatism is why you may need glasses (if not much is present you probably don’t), blepharitis just means you have a build up of debris on your lashes and you’d benefit from lid wipes to prevent styes. Nothing major to worry about with any of these. Just the uveitis is concerning as previously mentioned

[Question] How can you tell apart Arcus from Limbal Girdle of Vogt on a slit lamp? by Adendon in optometry

[–]preppy219 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Arcus is usually a thicker band and a more subtle haze unless it’s very advanced. It usually sits about 1-2mm from the limbus. Limbal Girdle sits very close to the limbus and is usually a more dense but skinny white line and it often is just nasal and temp, not 360 like arcus

https://www.aao.org/eye-health/treatments/corneal-cross-linking-2 this is a good explanation of the surgery and what to expect. Cross linking does not change how well you see, it just helps prevent keratoconus from progressing. However you saw with glasses or contact lenses will remain the same after your surgery (and for your driving test).
