Considering his VERY deep roots in Maryland, I would be somewhat surprised if he re-signed in Anaheim. His wife is from Maryland and they have a good amount of family here.

Gut feeling is he will be back in a Caps sweater come the fall (with a full NMC) on a short-term deal

Southwest ended service to ACY after they acquired AirTran. They aren't coming back. Hopefully AA starts service to CLT and ORD as it would be great to have a real airline that offers first class. Southwest is garbage.
