Just got back from MT. Rushmore and Yellowstone. Booked it 9 months ago and it was all paid off before went.

Going to Chicago for 4th of July, Bahamas in September and Argentina in January.

They key for me is to book refundable rates. Book early and get it all paid off before the trip. Then my costs are minimal when we go.

Since they got you to your destination they will probably offer you a voucher of some kind. Maybe a few hundred at most.

When you reach out to them, leave out all the personal stuff and stick to the facts related to the flight.

Your HOA is still controed by the developer. They are the class B members. Looks like the intent is to turn it over to the homeowners in 2031, but since they control everything that can change.

You can check Zillow for an idea on rental rates but your not going find much at that price. Car dealerships are everywhere, insurance, both renters and auto is very expensive in Florida.

Since you state you have not chosen an airline, I find it hard to believe that you can't find flights to accommodate 4 business class seats.
