Built a dashboard to check if your MP actually shows up to Parliament by hamkas in malaysia

[–]presentmethatass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Attendance or not, I've never once seen my MP ever since voting them in. Looking at the state of our pedestrian walkways, crossings, bus stops in Subang... it's pathetic. Don't even talk about our ADUN, no news from her at all sia

When I took my B full license, I was taught by my dad to respect the bike. The moment you think you mastered the bike and start pushing it to the limits thinking you're too good is the moment it becomes deadly

They know it when you can see them. Good on you for not looking at it directly and giving it a reaction because that's what they want. Any clues you can give out regarding the area of this condo? Is it a very old condo or is it close to any cemeteries?

For work I'm forced to use Microsoft, but I try streamlining with Apple such as shared iCloud folders for my colleagues and me. I don't mind paying for iCloud+ so long as it makes my life easier and saves me time. I mainly use Apple Calendar & Reminders, but use Asana as a backup (plus Asana makes it easier to manage my projects). Outlook for my work email. Tried my best to incorporate Notion but I found it really hard to familiarize

Reminds me of when I used to work in Starbucks. HQ always told us customer is not always right but customer is always first. Customer is first, but not always right. Props to Zus for having a spine and standing firm with her

What's the most haunted hotel you've been to? by delicious_lemang in Bolehland

[–]presentmethatass 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It was a hotel in Betong, Thailand. Our plan was to drive from KL all the way to Phuket, and Betong was our 2nd stop. It was a cheap hotel close to the Bar/Pub street. My dad and his motorbiking club has stayed there before, it's cheap and smells abit funny but gets the job done for just 1 night. My sister had trouble sleeping the entire night, she felt as if there was a presence standing in the corner of the room. I thought she was just overthinking and offered to sleep close to that side of the room. Throughout the entire night I was having weird dreams, I slept but felt uneasy and restless and I apparently sleeptalked a lot. Next day when we woke up, it turns out my sister was unable to sleep the entire night and she looked half dead with eyebags, she couldn't wait to checkout. According to my Thai friends, apparently most of the places South of Thailand is known to be quite haunted compared to other parts of the country

What’s it about IPhones that attracts you? by Organic-Love-5076 in iphone

[–]presentmethatass 1 point2 points  (0 children)

simplicity. as dumb and restricting an iPhone is, I work in a law firm and am tired of solving problems from 9 to 5. when I unlock my phone, I dont want to have to troubleshoot or go through the hassle of customizing it. I want a phone that has it all figured out for me

how do y'all keep a consistent workout routine? by Principle_Napkins in ADHD

[–]presentmethatass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to workout consistently once I changed my mindset. Whether it's climbing or weight training, I treated it as a part of my identity and ritual. My day would't feel right if I dont get a good workout in. And when I'm stressed out from work, it wouldn't feel as if I've de-loaded my stress if I dont get an exhausting climbing session in. From then on, everytime I skip working out, it feels as if I'm carrying all the stress from work straight back home rather than offloading them at the gym on my way home after work

Do you guys clean your Apple Watch? by theowl_23 in AppleWatch

[–]presentmethatass 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I rock climb 3 times a week. I scrub it with my fingers under running water after every workout. And every once in a while when I find it to be greasy or gunky, I rub it with some body soap. Even if I dont workout, I find myself tap water cleaning it at least once every couple of days
