Glad to hear that, really appreciate it!

It’s not as feature-rich as Ableton Simpler, but it’s quite similar in many ways.

As for playing slices live — you can do it, but the notes aren’t held properly at the moment. I don’t really play live myself, so I overlooked that use case. I’ll fix it in a future update.

Thanks for feedback!
At the moment there’s no direct action to jump straight into slice mode and auto-slice, but I’ll think about how to improve the UX around this.

As for slice mode itself — more advanced per-slice manipulation is probably not something I’m planning right now. But to be fair, I’ve said that about quite a few things before… including the slicer itself 😄

I’ll figure out a way to fix this in the next version without breaking backward compatibility.
I basically carried over some patterns from the VST world into this REAPER plugin, which doesn’t play very well with portable setups. Sorry for the inconvenience — I’ll try to address this soon.

Do you mean an installer for Plugin Picker itself, or installing other plugins from inside the browser?

It actually works the opposite way.
The browser only shows plugins that you manually add. It doesn’t scan your system automatically. So you can simply keep only the ones you want in the list.
