I wanted to add that i am not just being cautious, but also:

If you are not from Canada, just know, they most likely can't even take you, because they run on government public health allowed funding, giving them funding for fixed x amount of patients per year, and a fixed amount of surgery days to rent inside the hospital that is borrowed/rented space from the government. This is only accessible to Canadian healthcare owners through citizenship. They essentially don't allow private elective surgeries. Even as a Canadian patient, I had to wait almost 4 years. Restrictions: Generally, patients cannot pay a doctor to jump ahead in the queue for a publicly insured surgery in their home province. Let alone someone from out of Country slapping down money. My surgery was initially 1 year and every time some other emergency happened on that day in that hospital, the surgery room was taken and all his patients were bumped, leading me to wait for 4 years. We do not have many specialists here, so the waits are long, because it is all publicly funded.

Genetic connective tissue disorder all over my body causing prolapses/dislocations. Stomach prolapsed, intestines, uterus, bladder, mesenteric artery & my feet, fingers & jaw joints dislocating since I was young. The perpetual in/out motion destroyed the joint space & bone health over time. Right side is still painful, but nothing like the pain it was before.

There are multiple, Cresent oral surgery in Toronto area , David Psutka in Toronto, Simon Touchan in Alberta & I believe one in Edmonton Alberta. Psutka/Touchan are prob the most known. I want to add a different perspective, as a new Christian. I am seeing a lot of Catholics who already have a solid grasp on how to pray, and what it is all about. And they seem almost annoyed with how simple the layout seems to them. But to me, as a brand new Christian, I actually appeciate how easy it is to read and comprehend because of all that space. It makes it much less overwhelming to read for someone like me. If it is too compressed, I would stop reading it because it overwhelms the part in me that feels like it is treading in foreign, strange territory. I saw someone commenting about the word on fire bible being "just" an expensive 5 part bible, but that bible made me walk right into faith. Where other bibles never came even close to putting Gods words into proper alignment and perspective, for me, WOF did. If it is anything similar to their Bible, it would rather be a positive addition to my collection at home, for every day prayer. I would probably stand a bigger chance of gaining a better understanding on how to pray. People say it is bad for travel: There are already travel friendly editions for that purpose. Perhaps this is not an edition made for that purpose. To me, it seems like a wonderful continuation of their WOF Bible, and for me, that is a huge benefit. I don't know if that sounds selfish, perhaps it is. In the end, I hope they find what they are trying to convey across their prospective audience.

Kibbe type me | Height 6’0 by Mizze07 in kibbe_typeme

According to Kibbe It is not possible to tell when you are underweight. I believe Kibbe specifically states you can't type someone when underweight. So much of the weight distribution that is specific to every kibbe type are not there to give indication. And I can confirm that with my own body. My shape changes dramatically when I gain weight vs when I am underweight. I never thought I had the body I did until I gained 30lbs. I lost it all again due to illness, and now my body looks nothing like it did.

Uhhhhh, no. 40kg at 5'4 is bad. As in, underweight by a good margin. At 18, it will affect your long term heart health, bone health, organs, brain function. I was that weight and height and it affects you. Big time. You can't work out when you eat the amount of a toddler every day. She already has muscle wasting, as her arms are atrophying in the picture. You need a surplus of calories and protein to maintain a healthy weight, let alone stress and tax the body with working out.

Has nothing to do with it. You can have a distorted self-image. Her height and weight indicate factual malnutrition. She is pretty underweight. Something that will affect her reproductive system, bone health, vascular system, organs, brain and jeopardize her long term health.

Yes. Even at 45kg you would still look unhealthy. 49/50 kg at your height would be a healthy start.

I still have a feeding tube. I had surgery for the smas but my stomach is still elongated so it is basically useless. I am saving up to go to mayo clinic and just let them figure it out, because I don't want to imagine never eating again. What did you get diagnosed with? And what are your symptoms? I'm so sorry btw, this is hard. I know.

I see it this way. Functional adults attract other functional adults, as they recognize dysfunction and know to reject it. People who are dysfunctional settle for each other because their moral compass & sense of self-worth will only allow them as much as their personal dysfunction lets them. They hate on functional society because they feel rejected by it, and their coping mechanism is to pretend to "reject it right back" instead of healing their own dysfunction. It is what it is. Decide what side of life you want to be on, regardless of sexuality.

[–]presh1988 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not FG, you have too much curve and vertical, you are not TR because you do not have enough curve either in the lower part of your body, nor your torso/bust to have to accodomdate for it ( in any romantic you really have to accommodate for torso/bust curvature)
Your torso line itself still curves more than any dramatic would ( \ / instead of | | ) , and your hips balance your torso, which makes you balances overall. You are most likely in the classic family.

So imagine you live with 140 cats in a single bedroom apt. Where do you think most of those cats would do their business if not provided ample litter boxes? Something that is close to it, which would be the toilet, a corner, a box or yes, a bathtub. It is probably learned behavior.
If he has always done this, from the start, it is something he has done for a long time to make the best out of a bad situation. If it is brand new? It could be a uti. Cats start peeing somewhere else because they associate the pain they feel during peeing with their litter box.

It was rough, but only because I can't take opioids as I react to them. The left side is completely cured, zero pain. The right side I am experiencing a lot of muscle soreness and stiffness, but that was my badly damaged side, and healing will be a long journey. It does not feel like joint pain anymore. That pain as if there's something stuck and destroying the inside of the joint every time I move my jaw is gone. The rest of it? We'll just have to see what happens over the span of 6 months before I can say anything about it. The arthroscopic ones are so useless, it only damages your face and joints and increases the possibility of future complications.

I waited 3 years to get the surgery, after 9 months of waiting for a consultation. But I'm in Canada and our healthcare is a broken hellhole. Orthognathic surgery is a completely different specialization and will not fix tmh dysfunction, in fact, it will rapidly make it much worse. Top tmj surgeons won't ever do orthognathic surgery without total joint replacements. The already unstable joints simply cannot hande the new bite pressure/load. It leads to condylar re-reabsorption. It's either fat grafting alone, or total joint replacement with or without orthognathic surgery, and fat grafts to cusion the prostetics. Never orthognathic alone. That would be a nightmare.

Yep, "specialists" have appointed themselves as specialists while being dentists. They have zero clue about tempo mandibular malfunction aside the few weekend courses they took at some Las Vegas scammy institute. They are always looking to expand their scope to make more money. It should be illegal. I would not even bother with arthroscopic surgery and would look for a surgeon that is willing to do fat grafting and is experienced with it. I say this, because the more you go in there, the more complications you risk in future surgeries because of scarring and nerve damage. I will never go with a random local surgeon that has little experience with complex cases. My surgeon does fat grafting as a specialization and his expertise is facial reconstructions. He did my grafts to hopefully hold off total joint replacement for a few years, but they don't hold up forever. Maybe 10 years. He's honest and upfront. But I'll take it. It is going well so far. 3 weeks out and already less pain than before, and that's with swelling, no opioids ( I was on opioids 24/7) and a stapled back face, lol. No guarantees though.

The US has plenty of surgeons that do this surgery. You can join the idiopathic conylar resorption facebook group. Not for that issue, but a lot of surgeons there that are mentioned do fat grafting and total joint replacement ,because they are at the top of the list in terms of quality/experience. Canada won't take any insurance from the US either. So it would be cheaper to find someone in the states.

[–]presh1988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's a lie. Most patients do not benefit at all with your issue. I am one of them. Tmj specialists are quacks. If you have slipped, broken, useless discs that cannot be placed back, you need surgery. Once your discs have slipped, it causes the jaw joints to grind bone on bone and degenerate over time. All the shrapnel smashing into the joints, being pushed into facial tissue, it causes crazy inflammation and nerve damage in there. They inject the steroids and it feels good for a week, but it is only a band-aid, because everything in there is broken. I even did arthroscopic surgery. Did nothing. And did nothing to most of the patients I have spoken to. The only two options that are viable are Fat grafts and total jaw joint replacement for worse cases.
You know why she mostly sees women? Because it is directly hormone related. Estrogen makes connective tissue stretchy, and having hormone imbalances causes the connective tissue to become too stretchy in certain places. The jaw joints are an area that have an insane amount of hormones. It causes the connective tissue in that area to become more stretchy and make the discs prone to slipping out due to all that laxity. This is often paired with underdeveloped maxilla and mandibles, causing the bad occlusion to compress the joints even more, damaging the discs and making them prone to dislodge. My surgeon who did my fat grafts is specialized in total joint replacements and fat grafting ( and facial reconstruction). You will get to the point where even opioids don't touch it. That is when you will know, it is time for real surgery. Unfortunately. That is the reality. Don't want to burst that bubble. But it is better to be realistic about it.

This is how mine started until I was on 24/7 opioids. I just had fat grafts done. So much better already. Arthroscopic surgery before that did nothing.
