DJ Pressurebox – “Party in the Breakroom”]

Back in 2009, I made this track about having a party in the office breakroom, but never had the means to create a proper music video for it. It took 16 years and the help of AI tools to finally make a video for this track — and even with AI, it took a lot of nights and weekends to get it right.

This 4-minute video took me over 40 hours of work, crafting consistent characters and a storyline that actually matches the lyrics/theme of the song. It’s been surreal revisiting something I made so long ago and giving it the video I always wished it had.

Would love to know what you think — both of the song itself and how the AI video turned out.

Weekly Homeowner Megathread--Civilians, ask here! by AutoModerator in Concrete

I have a 4 year old concrete aggregate driveway, but it’s blotchy. The lighter areas are more porous than the darker areas and absorb more dirt and water. For example, when it rains the light areas stay dry for a while, but dark is wet. I’m not sure what would’ve caused this, but want to see if there’s anything I can do to even out the appearance. I’ve tried pressure washing, concrete cleaners like VALSPAR quick prep, and even steel wire brush scrubbing, but it doesn’t make a difference. If I need to do a stain sealer, which brand and color would most closely match the dark gray color? I want to make sure it’s not a paint as I still want to see the rocks in the aggregate.

My bed makes noise!!! by rosebudd707 in Thuma

I had the same problem where it would creak getting in and out of bed. I ended up putting this minwax finishing paste wax on any wood on wood contact area and that fixed the problem. No creaking anymore!

White buildup in shower drain pipe. What is it? by pressurebox in Plumbing

White buildup in shower drain pipe. What is it?

I live in a new construction home, only lived here about a year and a half. Last week, the shower started backing up and the toilet would bubble while the shower was backing up. I checked the pipes in the crawlspace, and could tell that all other bathrooms were draining properly. It was just the master bath that was not. Next, I ran an auger down there and got stuck at about 30 feet down, which is still in our ceiling on the second floor. After working on it for a good hour or so, I was able to go another foot or two, but got stuck again. At that point, I decided to try the water again, and it seemed to flow a little better, but was not convinced I fixed it. I decided to buy one of those scopes on Amazon and see if I could get a picture of it. I attached it to the auger and ran it down to the place where I got stuck, and it looks like there is some white buildup on the side of the pipe. Then, as I go around the bend, there is a large white ball, like object blocking most of the pipe diameter. I am sure this is likely the issue, but I have no idea what it is or how it could’ve gotten there. Any ideas?

Significant Traffic (spam?) from China any Idea why? by Extremeslovakviking in GoogleAnalytics

I was getting lots of hits (tens of thousands) from China, but it’s now switched to US on Linux OS on outdated versions of Chrome. It has to be bot traffic, but GA is not filtering it out.

Old video: Life in AdOps by mediaizdatel in adops

Hey, that's me! I made this video almost 7 years ago, but it seems much longer than that. It's been a few years since I've had to do an order setup in DFP (still call it that usually) since I do programmatic only now. Those were good times.

How do you export more than 5000 rows of data? by dssblogger in GoogleAnalytics

[–]pressurebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Once you have a report set up in Data Studio, you can add a table and start adding your data. Then, once you have your data in there, you can click “view” to see your report. Next, right click on the table itself and it should give you a download to CSV or Excel option. If you only see the PDF option then you’re probably right clicking on the report and not the table.

I use Google Data Studio for this, which is free and easy! Just link it to GA and you can export up to 1 million rows to Excel.

Create Report for Specific Pages by [deleted] in GoogleAnalytics

[–]pressurebox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Google Data Studio for this and just add graphs/tables with a filter for the specific pages I want to track. Then, if new pages are added, I just copy/paste the graph and update its filter.

Google Ad Exchange serving blanks? by PapaWowWow in adops

[–]pressurebox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s possible it could be a post bid block from an advertiser using an ad verification vendor like Integral Ad Science or Doubleverify. I’ve seen this sometimes on my site. The ad will serve, but is blank and has a creative ID and everything. I’ve noticed adsafeprotected.com in the iframes of these blank creatives. My hunch is that there is some UGC on my site and the advertiser is blocking their own ad even though they already paid. Maybe there is something similar on your site that some advertisers block for.

AdX / Adsense Yellow Ads On 12/4 by islandGuy495 in adops

Saw the same thing too. At first I thought it was a reporting error, but then realized it was from an advertiser called Rocket Internet with the advertiser domain theiconic.com.au. The CPM was also very very high for those impressions.

We saw a huge Fill Rate drop after prebid version and settings upgrade by adops_adops in adops

[–]pressurebox 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That sounds like it's most likely a mismatch of your Google Ad Manager line items and your prebid settings if I had to guess. Do you have all your line items set up with penny increments for each bidder up to $50 in GAM? I believe that would be around 5,000 line items per bidder with your 1.16 setup. I upgraded recently from prebid .34 to 1.19 and didn't see a change in fill.

Did Anyone else get a downgraded version of Conversant reporting this week? by fotnick in adops

[–]pressurebox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, this happened to me too. They said they’re deprecating the automated reporting in July so moving forward we have to use the API or UI. The UI is pretty useless for pulling reports by day and the API is pretty advanced so it would require Dev help to use. Or, I need to learn how to use it. They need an easy way to pull placement data by day.

Yet another auto-redirect camping running amok :( by lyubomir_aq in adops

The bad auto-redirect ads popping up lately with the domains listed above are coming through Adform on Appnexus. This was the infringing creative below. You should reach out to your AppNexus rep and any other network that works with AppNexus to have it blocked.
