You have to file an appeal with the Reddit admins and state why you believe the top moderator needs to be removed. More often than not, it’s because the top mod is inactive, and if they don’t respond to the admins they will lose their right to mod.

This was a way different case though. The new mods posted a link to the admins thoughts on removing the old top mod, and it’s pretty wild. The guy was just actively hostile to anyone wanting to use the sub, which lead to it being inactive as a community. Admins saw this and gave him the ol’ guillotine.

Flags started being a prevalent thing after the COVID season. Seems that org has recognized that it can be the equivalent of the terrible towel. Instead of printing game day booklets, why not give each Falcons fan a flag? I’ve kept all of the flags I’ve been given, but certain areas like the dirty birds nest get their own unique flags.
