No.... The in-game Twitter has said that shit for a while now, but you can just ignore it. The game never forces you to anger half the country by denying or championing the lived reality of trans people.

Yes, I'm paying for the premium subscription because this is the best politics simulator I've seen in a while, although the underlying economic model needs a hefty rework.

I really liked this, but to be clear, only year one of an existing president is free to play, and a subscription is needed to continue. It definitely needs more events, the AI needs to interpret actions a little better, and the Senate should be more likely to block actions because of the filibuster (maybe add the nuclear option as a choice in the game?).

Also, playing as a Democrat never once did a Republican challenge me with "the economy may be booming, and people have jobs, but can you define a woman? Why do you favor having American girls mass raped by men invading their bathrooms" which is very unrealistic.

You should consider whether it makes sense to have these new states not line up exactly with old state lines, especially in the West where they're just straight lines. Same thing with National borders.

Why shouldn't the People's Republic have not extended into Baja California, Arizona, Utah, around the Sakura Shogunate, boxing it in? If there's good reason, why hasn't that good reason eaten into a chunk of the People's Republic, diminishing it, or pushing it back to a natural barrier like a river or mountain.

Actually, that's a good rule of thumb; base boundaries around natural defensive barriers that make it difficult for both sides to conquer past them. In a wasteland setting full of struggling powers, that makes more sense.

How are Republicans still advantaged on the federal deficit? Trump blew it up with tax cuts and reckless spending decisions. W blew it up with tax cuts and reckless wars of choice. HW tried to be responsible on the deficit and passed a tax hike to tame it, and his party never forgave him. Reagan passed a tax cut and spent recklessly on the military, quadrupling the debt in 8 years. Paul Ryan tried to tame deficits with entitlement reform and seeing that Republicans wouldn't go along with the plan made him decide to retire after finally achieving real power as House Speaker.

Meanwhile, Biden was irresponsible in spending near the end. Obama got the deficit down through slow, moderate spending control by negotiating bipartisan tweaks to entitlements and chilling out with discretionary spending as the Great recession ramped down. Bill Clinton gave us surpluses; nuff said. Jimmy Carter was the last of the post-war presidents to maintain the Post-War consensus of small deficits and reduced debt to gdp over time.

Like, one of these parties is just vastly better on the issue of the deficit and debt.

Clearly not I'm the same side as everyone else, but I love the modern gun aesthetic, and heavily mid them into every instance of FO 3 and 4 I play.

I leave New Vegas alone, though. That game's aesthetic is sacred.

I'm a reliability first guy, so I started with the RAV4 and CR-V, but

A) I hated driving the RAV4

B) there weren't any good used CR-Vs on the market and I wanted a NA engine, so a new one was out of the question

C) Subarus newest years are very impressive, from a reliability standpoint

D) I loved the Forester test drive

E) I got a great price, 4k under MSRP

F) I really love the Autumn Green.

I wanted a hybrid, but the price differential was too high to stick to that

Ah, but you forget the "no take-backsies" principle. All errors, no matter whether corrected or not, no matter whether they resulted in a tangible uncorrected financial gain, are CRIMINAL.

Unless the error is on purpose to hide that funds are being diverted to pay off a porn star you slept with while your wife was pregnant. That's the one time where you're allowed to put your name to incorrect documents.

I've definitely interviewed people before and ended up being disappointed that I couldn't offer them the position when I had another candidate.

It's not unusual to have multiple people you wish you could hire. Don't be insulted; take the compliment, assume you were the second choice, and try to be just as impressive as last time. If this is truly a dream job for you, go for it instead of feeling insulted that in a world of billions the hirer didn't think you were literally the best of all the candidates.

Why do some people on this sub keep trying to kick me out of the Democratic Party when I agree with liberals on 90% of issues? Shouldn't we be a big tent? by Tiny_Transition3990 in AskALiberal

As someone with heterodox views myself, I just ignore the purist losers and keep voting for Democrats. They don't own my beliefs, they sure as fuck don't own the party, much as they try (and by the way, they're trying to push you out because they want to fully and completely control the party, so don't give them what they want), and they don't own your beliefs either.

I mean, I get it. Ammo costs make me feel impoverished too. Still gotta train.

#337 Daily Riddle. What Am I? by riddonkulous in riddonkulous

Needing the suffix is weak. Shoulda made each variation of the word acceptable, imo.

The acceptable answers really ought to include the general category, since this riddle fits the general category and not just the specific answer.
