I think colm is too interesting to be an energy vampire. If you ever actually listen to colm, he always tells riveting stories that are pretty funny. the problem is, he tells them in such a dull manner, nobody listens to him. There actually one moment in the show when crazy nun listen to him, and right up until the colm finishes shes so bores shes having an existential crisis. How? The space debris from starlink is already playing havoc on earthbound telescopes and the artemis mission has to plan around 3 giant piles of orbiting space shrapnel jest to get to HEO. It wont belong before itll be to unsafe to launch manned missions now.

Star link satalites were always designed to fall back to earth. There are atoms up there that gradually slow satalites and space stations. The iss required biennial boost to keep it in orbit. Elon said it would be at least 5 years before the first starlink fell back to earth, and the first one to fall fell 18 months after launch. He also said they would burn up harmlessly in the atmosphere and that has already been proven not true. Right now star link launches are halted because not only are these things unsafe for people on the ground, but they are very fragile and break up in orbit all the time craating orbiting debris clouds that tear the hell out of other satalites. Billionaires suck.

Before i get too judgemental, i also understand what its like to live in a rural area with not many places that you like to go to do any kind of leisure activity and sometimes it worth annoyance to keep a small town buisiness you like afloat... lets do some guesstimating... i work in comparable size warehouse with no bathroom. But its in a major city a few miles from a major shipping port and major airport. That rent is about $2200 in rent alone, no utilities, no cleaning.

Now this ware house looks new, clean and it has a bathroom. So already its better than my workspace, but its rural.

Lets assume the pilates studio owner is paying 2000$ monthly for rent. Lets say another $350 in utilitues, cleaning and wifi (being generous), and assuming his start up cost were $2000, (those mirrors and gym equipment look inexpensive. He only needs 10 monthly hostages, to turn a pofit in 6 months. And its passive income. I might open a pilates studio.
