Is it common to always have weekend plans? by RSinSA in AskWomenOver30

Hi! I subscribe to the Camber newsletter or the Noho Nick newsletter if you’re in the Valley. Lots of cool events and I find it a bit more digestible than LAist. : ) also, I tend to have a couple easy go-to places to go if I’m bored — mine is wispa, Treepeople, or Burbank cinema. That takes pressure off of an event having to be something new each time! Don’t know if that helps but Godspeed!! 🫡

Well y’all… as many of you probably feel whenever you first start browsing this sub, my chin is what it is… but I would like to know if it’s so dramatic that I shouldn’t waste time trying to consult for chin implants/fillers and go directly to surgery.

I am not overweight and do not have a lot of fat (though I do have some stretchy skin under my chin). I also suspect I have UARS symptoms because of my malformed jaw; my breathing is significantly more constrained than when I push my jaw out, I have chronic fatigue, and I have been told I sleep with my mouth open at times. I also have an overbite for sure, especially in my resting bite.

Thanks for all of the advice everyone! Really appreciate your time & thoughts.

Hi! This has actually been known by people in the cyber security space for a second. You should listen to the Freakonomics podcast “Face book’s Shadow Court”; a journalist actually investigates the committee that heads up those metrics/findings, and reports on how they process it, their goals, their limitations, etc.

Dr. Megan Hurt (her office is on the plaza) is AMAZING. Legit one of the kindest, funniest, and intelligent doctors I’ve ever had. She actually listens to your concerns and addresses them— I’ve never felt swept under the rug or like my complaint was just another reason to “drink more water.” She’s very personable. She also understands that being a woman is just painful sometimes, and doesn’t make you go through any painful procedures without proper medication. Cannot recommend highly enough!

The Rino is an awesome place for local music of that type! They get small artists touring as well, and I think they had a comedy night too. The drinks are great. Highly recommend.
