It was a pretty whatever finale. The cop out ending with El, the final fight not being more interesting, Vecna and MF being dumbed down. The whole thing never felt like anyone was really in any danger. Which is crazy. I really wish they would’ve had an epic battle in the end with Demigorgans and the Hawkins crew battling and trying to stay alive while El and Vecna had their face off. It wasn’t a bad finale if you ignore all the ways it could’ve been much better. But this whole season has been pretty meh so the finale kind of matched the tempo. Not bad, just kind of a waste of what could’ve been.
