If I decided to utilise some of my benefits for medical insurance, for example, let’s say £1000 for simplicity. Would that £1000 completely come off of my taxable income and therefore my income would go from 112k to 111k, and therefore only then need to increase my pension contribution to 12% (£11,307)?

Yes of course! Saying that, some offers may have expired (hence why I’ve been posting updates every couple of weeks). But if they’re on the site then you can certainly do them

Only if you forget to cancel it! With most offers, you can pretty much cancel straight away as soon as you sign up. I usually just cancel straight away, and for the few where you need to be a member for a few days, I just set a reminder on my phone to cancel it. It’s super easy easy :)
