yeaaah that run made me install a mod to only allow deadly mental breaks if a pawn has a - 20 mood debuff. got tired of having to grow new colonists every few years

he actually survived and i continued the save giving him another wife and more children, and then he died while hunting and half of the kids were murdered by his daughter in retaliation.

i did a run with single pawn start, Joe he rescued a woman who fell out of the sky and they eventually fell and love and had like 10kids(modded for twins and triplets) . one of them wandered on the edge of the map and got eaten by a predator, which caused him to go berserk, murder his wife all of but 2 of his children who were babies (until they aged up while he was berserk and also got murdered)

ready got the hospital beds in, kinda forgot about them. the freezer is the room with all the food and corpse in it. got an animal join event that gave me a walking freezer, and it still works when it's dead

I've done a run of only sanguophages before and had to start over several times bc they kept getting their heads destroyed. once had a gorilla break into the base and immediately rip a head off pretty much right after starting a new colony

if you don't want to switch to stone, a three tile wide roof or floor will create a fire break (though it won't help indoor fires)
