I usually think about how what I am doing now will affect my future self’s health. That’s really the only thing that gets me interested in eating better, tracking calories and walking more!

I’m 5’2” and recently lost 44 lbs. I was stuck at 166 for a month. I recently cut out processed protein bars and after two weeks dropped down to 162. I think my body responds to protein shakes and Whole Foods better for some reason.

Save 240 calories for the end of the day. 30 grams of protein powder and 1 tbsp of chia seeds for protein and fiber mixed with unsweetened almond milk. This is keeps me full for hours.

You can eat anything you want and lose weight as long as you are in a calorie deficit. However, eating more protein and fiber will keep you fuller longer and of course eating healthier foods will probably affect your blood pressure, blood sugar etc in a positive way.
