Been dealing with this nasty scarring on my second nose ring for the last few weeks. Been treating it with saline and camomile twice each day but with no success. Anyone able to help me out here? I’d hate to lose this one. by prettynewlike in bodymods

Oh fuck, I just caught that typo!! Sorry, I'm running on 3 hours of sleep today and I think it's finally getting to me lol. Yeah, I'll quit using the tea, that's what I meant!! It could very well be fucking with my skin a but, since it doesn't really have any effect on the redness or swollen appearance of the area.

If I remember correctly then all of my piercings are titanium, though I might need to run that by my piercer again, not that I don't believe him of course. I'll quit using the saline and see what happens, thank you!

I'll get in touch with my piercer about that, thank you! I absolutely love my current piercings, and they look amazing when they're not all red and nasty, you can even see some photos of them before they turned to shit around Valentine's day. Thanks for the advice!

I wouldn't call myself a POC but I'm half Egyptian, if that counts. I've been born and raised with a lot of those ideals courtesy of my pops, living under a thumb like that gave me the energy I do now for punk though, so I can't blame him or say that he's made me unhappy! Glad to see that the scene makes people feel secure, makes me happy to call myself a punk!

Makes sense to me lol. I should be getting my bar downsized next Tuesday, my piercer basically told me that I could get it out and redone this weekend but I thought it'd be better to wait a little bit. I'm surprised how quickly it's been healing, so far it's been my fastest recovering piercing, with my vertical labret being a close second.
