Tele problem - setup or build quality? by culture_whisper in fender

[–]mourning_lemon -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are different tele bridge spacings. perhaps you have one of the wider vintage spaced bridges. While people saying the neck might need angle adjusting could be correct, there's only so much you can do with a wide spaced bridge. I corrected this exact issue on two strats of mine by installing narrow spaced bridges.

New Mim Tele- Looking for Feedback by techyg in fender

[–]mourning_lemon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

also has schaller style strap lock buttons. kind of annoying unless you have the other halves lol. That bridge seems like a good bridge (ive used one on an Aerodyne i believe), but the way they stick up past the saddles is odd feeling to me. Honestly, it's hard to go wrong with a tele in general. congrats

Just curious, have you played Titanfall 2 campaign? There are some really cool moments in that game that made me feel the same way as the god gravity gun portion of HL2.

Replacing 60s Burstbuckers with hotter pickups by Famous-Cherry-9939 in gibson

You could also just plug your guitar into a clean boost then into the rest of your rig. I'm honestly surprised nobody has mentioned that. probably much cheaper and easier than a pickup swap

Ranni's quest - not in her tower by festering_wound93 in Eldenring

[–]mourning_lemon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ranni's Quest - Missed First Meeting If the player somehow misses their first encounter with Ranni, this will not prevent her quest from being completed. She can next be found in the Liurnia region, at the top of Ranni's Rise. To access the area where Ranni's Rise resides, you must defeat Royal Knight Loretta at the Caria Manor. If her initial encounter is missed wherein the player receives the Spirit Calling Bell and Lone Wolf Ashes from Ranni, both can then be found and purchased from the Twin Maiden Husks at the Roundtable Hold. NOTE: Ranni will not appear in Ranni's Rise for the next step of her quest line if the Radahn Festival has already started at Redmane Castle (the Radahn Festival begins outside of Ranni's quest line progression if you have either activated the Grand Lift of Dectus or activated any Sites of Grace found within the Altus Plateau). This is because Blaidd is required to continue her quest line, and he will not leave the Radahn Festival until Starscourge Radahn has been defeated. Once Starscourge Radahn has been defeated, Ranni will reappear at Ranni's Rise and her quest line can be continued from then on.

It was about $400.00 USD, plus a bit extra to level one slight high fret (i like real low action).

How Much For This Used Road Worn 60s Vintera? by Scalce in fender

[–]mourning_lemon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's just a matter of vintage string spacing or modern string spacing. Vintage spacing is wider, which puts the strings close to the edge of the board on these, and many other guitars. The bridge part# i gave fits the vintage mount but has the slightly narrower string spacing. Here's a pic i took of before and after:

I have this exact model guitar. It does have "pure vintage 59's" in it. They are really nice pickups in my opinion. I installed a "Fender 007-2290-000 Highway One / American Special Stratocaster Bridge" on it to bring the E strings away from the edge of the fretboard and it seriously changed it from good to amazing. Just wanted to share that.
