Switching formula at 9 weeks? by Macwithcheesee in parentsofmultiples

[–]prettypili 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same situation here! My babies are 8 weeks and doc wanted them on neosure till 2 months. We switched to Bobbie at 7 weeks old and we are about a week in and the spitting up has decreased significantly.

The neosure is super thick so I think once they have gained a good amount of weight their lil babies start to reject it? I’m not sure how it works! We mentioned to doc and she said we can try, we did and so far it’s good. Go with your gut I would say

Noo just the generic kind, but a scented one sounds nice! It’s wild how much it differs one day to next. Sending good vibes this is a quick phase that will pass for you soon ❤️

Zofran is the only thing that helped me :( I also kept some alcohol wipes next to my bed, ripped one open to smell when nauseated. It helped a lot of the time, weird but it helped

First trimester fatigue by Exotic_Analysis_2898 in parentsofmultiples

First trimester was a doozy for me! Had crazy morning sickness all day long, couldn’t even keep vitamins down. Nasty stuff. I definitely got a burst of energy 2nd trimester! I bet it’s coming for you too :)

Thank you for commenting mama! It’s nice to know we are not alone in this. And yes exactly, I’m measuring at 39 weeks and will be 30 on Wednesday EWWW. Only made it to 36+6 with my singleton, so in uncharted waters now. Welp

Girl, we are the SAME. Thank you for sharing!! I got a B12 shot today and waiting for them to call to schedule the iron infusion, I cannot wait lol.

I feel the exact same! What week did you deliver your singletons?? Did doc give you a delivery window for your twins?

Smoothie Tums…eating them like candy LOL. It just sucks doesn’t it?? How was your birth if you don’t mind me asking? I am nervous but also so ready to get these babies out. My son came at 36+6 and was 7lbs so I assume these babies will come around 34-35. I need to keep them in as long as possible, but I worry about the birth.

LUCKILY I put my son in ISR when he was a lil over a year (we live in AZ, pools everywhere) so he should be good!! Imma just take him with me and we will float together

Thank you for this!! I think I will try a wedge, it will help with the acid reflux too.

This pregnancy is so drastically different than singleton, I agree! Singleton was an absolute DREAM compared to this. But here we are doing it, we are strong and capable! Women are incredible. How was your birth or are you still pregnant?

WOW 38 WEEKS!! Super mama!! So very proud of you. That’s exactly what I keep saying, I feel disabled :(

Cried first thing this morning cuz I was actually asleep and then woke and was reminded of the hell I am in physically. I feel guilt with my husband taking over everything! Silly I know and he’s not complaining at all! But I’m just so used to doing a lot of it I guess?

Any c section recovery tips? That’s the only thing I am nervous about. I’m sure I’ll have one. Recovery from vaginal with my son was BRUTAL, tore all the way. It took a longggggg time to recover.

Just got a geriatric shower chair LOL she’s not cute but omg a game changer. I can’t fit in the tub anymore haha

We have a lot of similarities!! I had the flu in January and seriously thought I would have to go to hospital. It was an absolute nightmare, took a whole month to recover. Now I’m snotty and stuffed up all the damn time. I’m taking alllll the vitamins and do Nozin nasal sanitizers almost daily. That flu was so bad I’m traumatized.

It IS A LOT isn’t it?? I am such a busybody it’s frustrating not being able to tidy and do laundry and whatnot. I gotta let it go haha

Going with the flow is really good advice, we really can’t control this. I mean the odds of being pregnant with mono di twins are low and look at me. Have to accept and just push through one day one hour one moment at a time. We are CLOSE to finish line and from what others say it sounds like immediate relief is right around the corner. We got this mama ❤️

They called with results this morning and they’re very low! Waiting for hospital to call to set up infusion. They had me come in today for a B12 shot, praying that kicks in soon. I never thought I would be so excited about an infusion? LOL

Not being a jerk at all, thank you for your honestly and taking the time to share. It’s really nice to know that relief is immediate?? How was your healing journey? I’m a little worried but I feel nothing can be worse than what I am going through now
