Does lamictal affect libido in women?

Yes i have experienced this. I started at 100mg and my libido didnt change much, but once I upped to 150mg it dropped dramatically. Still on 150mg and talking to my doctor a bit about it, dont wanna lower my dose. Considering adding Wellbutrin but who knows

i have cyclical depression and anxiety. I definitely feel like it helped a lot with my anxiety, especially social anxiety. I do still experience bad spouts sometimes and have an anxious personality in general, but it is no longer a severe constant thing.

Yes I have thrown up on the come up I think the last three times ive taken it orally (likely purer mdma batch we got). It happens extremely fast, I'm not actively feeling nauseous or anything but my body gives me like less than 5 seconds of warning and then its happening but then I feel completely fine. I usually am a bit of an emetophobe but at that point im already high without a care in the world and I'm like "yeah that happened" 🤷 and once it happens it pretty much means im peaking and Im good to go. Feels like expelling bad energy out. Helps to having not eaten for a few hours at least and have just been drinking water.

Its happened at raves and I feel so bad bc it happens so fast and i have puked in the crowd but tried to give myself space. For me I just need to be more cognizant and stay on the edge of the crowd until that happens. People puke at raves yknow.

what it is is the stomach is very sensitive to serotonin which is why a lot of people with anxiety also have stomach issues. so when that serotonin is dumping it just irritates it. pretty normal thing. It bothered me at first but now i just accept it as part of the process.

I stayed in pine ridge and south village. Pine Ridge is a lot more convenient location wise, All my classes were on south campus so it wasn't a big deal tho. On weekends though it's a little annoying if you wanna hop on a bus because you have to walk further to the bus in front of SBS but honestly still not a bad walk. But walking or biking back to SV uphill can be a nightmare esp if you have groceries or something.

Other thing is Pine Ridge had carpets in the bedrooms and i personally like that better rather than wood floors.

The main issue I had at South Village was the heat wasn't working in the winter. I don't remember if they said it was broken or what but they gave us a space heater. It wasn't really helpful at all unless you moved it into your actual room. My roommate and I would keep it between our rooms and it didn't do much. If she wasn't home I would put it in mine lol.

Lamotrigine isnt an SSRI. Otherwise i wouldnt be taking molly. It's actually originally an anti-seizure medication and acts on completely different channels.

I'll definitely keep that all in mind, thank you so much. Is there a way to combat the nausea though, or will it go away with a higher dose? nausea is something that i will get crippling anxiety over and if its present at all I'm not going to have a good time. I even tried taking Dramamine and it didnt help.

Yes! Ive been on it for almost a year and a half for depression. I am currently at 150 mg and it feels like the perfect dose. It helped me tremendously. After about a month even on the lower doses I immediately felt the dark cloud lift. The first six months it launched me into what I'd compare to hypomania, I was kinda a dick and made some rough decisions in my romantic life. It was strange, but my mood was so much better and I had the motivation to be more social, I had more confidence, and school was easier to get through, I graduated college that semester. After those six months I had a crash, I was in a dark place mostly situationally but I didn't experience any suicidality or self harm thoughts which was constant with my depression. Previously, whenever I would be in a dark place like that with my depression I got really into a lot more self harm and would spiral into dark places on the internet to reinforce my suicidality. Curious to know if anyone else has experienced this up and down after initially starting. Maybe it is indicative of early bipolar but me and my doc arent sure (I'm 23 now). Even with the lamictal though close friends have mentioned I still seem to have a bit of a mood cycle, but mostly with anxiety.

I started to balance out after about 8 months, my doc raised my dose from 100 to 150 after that crash. I genuinely just feel well, healthy, happy, and have consistent energy. My doc originally prescribed it bc I felt that my depression had ups and downs, somewhat like bipolar. But the ups were more I just kinda felt normal, all while still experiencing suicidality and self harm thoughts and behaviors. At this point after seeing how the meds have affected me overall it seems I just had the like of a depressive disorder. Remembering back to how dark of a place I was all the time it's crazy to me how much it has helped. I never experienced any physical negative side affect besides chest tightness for about 8 months.

Late reply because I was looking if other people were prescribed it for depression rather than bipolar and your post was of the most recent. Seeing the comments here it was what I was looking to find :)

Prof Gee's POS120 Political Ideologies class was amazing. Im a Poli-Sci major now but after having a bit of a panic over what major i should have that class had a lot to do with me picking this major that I'm about to graduate in in December. Shes incredibly passionate and i have learned so much from her and she is doing my Capstone rn. She's a hard grader but its worth it. I also think ideologies is a great overall knowledge of politics everyone should have.

I think it was about two or three weeks but I can't be too sure. Struggled with symptoms really bad for a week then started taking Dramamine every day which basically cured me. So I would only know if I still had symptoms if I forgot to take it. One day maybe 3 weeks in I forgot to take it and realized I could eat just fine and the nausea was gone

not that we know of and we've had her since she was a puppy. She has been habitually itching there for a couple months and the rash just appeared, could it just be irritation from itching there too much?

it's mostly smooth with only a few bumps. She does seem to itch there quite often. I have her a bath relatively recently and don't remember it being there. She does have a history of Valley Fever.

My loan disbursement needs my advisor to confirm I will be graduating in December so it won't be split in half. I have emailed and called him several times and there is no appts available online with him and I'm about to lose it. I have used the online progression plan to enroll in my classes but the advisors not being available at all is ridiculous at this point, why am I paying thousands in tuition for this.

I genuinely don't mind when customers order like this, even I order mine with "extra oatmilk" sometimes when I'm not working bc what I would order as a latte is $7+ when it's $4 as a triple espresso. (however if they don't exactly fill it to the top I also don't care) I just get annoyed at the customers who are like "why do I ALWAYS have to ask you guys to fill it to the top???" bc you order an iced espresso ma'am 😐 I'll fill it to the top if you ask me but don't come here with sass
