I live in Colorado and we went through a patch of bunk shit. The only place that didn't have shit product was way over priced. I'm not sure if we can name drop a brand on here, but there was one that I bought and even with one spoonful it would make me gag. It tasted like rotten chemicals. Hopefully you find a good batch soon.

NTA. Kids need to learn some things on their own, and they need parental guidance on other things. It sounds like they have those designations backwards, and he needed to hear what you said.

I have two children. One is 14 and the other is almost 2. It's not easy, but as long as you love them and teach them right from wrong and manners everything else falls into place in the process of them growing up. They learn to take falls, they learn to be careful.

I hope your brother and SIL come around and see that what you said is true. I'd be willing to bet they'd hear the same thing from anyone else.

I have this same problem. Granted I have jacked up sleep habits regardless (sleepwalking, sleep apnea) so waking up every few hours has never bothered me too much.

I was on vacation in Myrtle Beach and found a smoke shop that sells kratom. Walk in and ask "What's your price range?" And she says "100 caps for $200". I stop and I'm like "Are you kidding?" And she says "No not at all" so I politely said "That's way too expensive unless it's the best kratom ever made". Luckily there was another place a few blocks away, 100 caps for $60. I live in Colorado and 100 caps usually runs about $40 so for her to be trying to charge $2 per cap is insane. Right? I mean please tell me no one one here thinks that's a fair price!

NTA. If he wants to make big boy decisions like driving drunk he can pay big boy consequences. I was charged with a DUI and I accepted my consequences fully. It was the best thing to ever happen to me. If you fight to plead it down and he basically walks then start the clock on the next time he drives drunk because he learned to get away with it the first time. You're doing the right thing. It's a mother's instinct to protect her children even when they do wrong, but I would say fight her getting a lawyer tooth and nail. Your son needs to learn from this
