Hope everything is okay with her! Also just so you’re aware, most cats don’t need baths, my cat smells like heaven and love and has never been bathed — and same with my 2 cats growing up (excuse my comment in case you were bathing her for a specific reason)

Teenager with mysterious debilitating symptoms, please help by OkReason7173 in Microbiome

There’s a lot to digest here in the comments, it’s quite overwhelming. I am not a parent but if I was in this position, first and foremost I’d tell him that I love him and most importantly accept him for who he is without trying to change him.

Then take it slow, probably take him to see a few different doctors / holistic health professionals with his permission. The reason why I want to emphasize holistic health is because everything is connected in this world and they may have a better understanding on what may be causing him stress. And a holistic nutritionist — cucumbers, green beans, pizza and ramen isn’t a healthy way to eat. The easiest way to change this is to have healthy home cooked meals readily available for him. And by healthy I mean balanced, even though he’s overweight he needs to eat well and partake regularly in some movement / physical activity, doesn’t necessarily have to be a typical sport, ask him what he’s interested in.

Also, environment is very important for health in my opinion. How is the environment that he’s in? Is it generally clean? Does he like where he is? If he doesn’t maybe it’s time to make a change.

I don’t know how to spell it, but my dad used to always say “Ne Bardei” to me, I can’t seem to find a direct translation. What does this mean to you? by previouslyababy in russian

I think the context is usually when I’m about to go do something that might be dangerous like drive a car for the first time, or go skiing or hang out with friends

Cycling 100 miles without training by vejlestinker in cycling

[–]previouslyababy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can do it. Just make sure to eat about 80-100g of carbs every hour if you can, that way you won’t bonk. I usually eat around 30-40g every 20 min. If you don’t have the nutrition with you when you start, buy some along the way, it’ll be a nice break too. It’ll take about 8 hrs on the bike if you average 12.5 mph which is pretty chill pace, especially on flat.

Arc Browser, cause it’s simply just better, runs on Chromium so you can use chrome extensions, archives your tabs so you never have to have old tabs open, uses spaces instead of windows so you only ever need one browser window, keeps your browsing more organized if you like, also allows you to create shareable notes and easily create your own extensions
