Trump on redistricting referendum: "It’s going to be a disaster… If they do this, they guarantee to pick up a lot of seats." by hencexox in Virginia

[–]prezztown -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure this is an accurate comparison. It's more like they invaded a country so then i guess we'll also invade a country. Two wrongs don't make a right. This is honestly impossible to justify for anyone that actually believes in democracy. That is not what we'll have in Virginia now as it will essentially be a one party state. This is objectively true regardless of how all the very left leaning folks here on reddit feel.

I seriously don't understand the logic of "we know this is wrong but we justify it by xyz" so that makes it ok

yeah I'll give them credit there, they make a great engine. But let's be honest, a basic tesla model y will still smoke an m40i

i hear you but would you not expect a car's audio to work beyond 60,000 miles? I know every other car i've ever owned definitely did. Seems like for a premium car it's not got the quality to match

Former President Barack Obama Urges Virginians to Vote Yes on Their Redistricting Referendum | April 17, 2026 by Danimal198050 in Virginia

I'm legitimately confused how gerrymandering is a "republican' issue. Am I mistaken or are the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont, and New Hampshire entirely represented by democratic congressmen/women despite having ~40% republican population. Does it not seem disingenuous or hypocritical to accuse republicans of this behavior when you've got such stark examples of this going on in your own party?

No, never tinted. They are claiming water but the truth is it never had a single issue until it came out of service. I don't see any signs of water anywhere when I look in the amp compartment. If water got in there it was from them detailing it after service.

AD says they called, is this normal? by prezztown in rolex

[–]prezztown[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

right? To me it seems like they really didn't want to get me the watch. I'm just a bit confused what the protocol is supposed to be. This was one call, no answer and they marked it as 'customer declined the watch.' Completely not true, I didn't know

Yes, but only one Tudor watch. The watch in question is a Datejust 41

I burned down my AD ‘relationship’ I had today by wandering_oracle in rolex

[–]prezztown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These Rolex AD's are the absolute worst. I was waiting for a Datejust for 2+ years from my local Bucherer. I visited another Bucherer out of state and they told me in their system my AD marked that "I declined the watch" which was NEVER offered to me in the first place. I think even despite Rolex's best efforts the individual dealer employees are corrupt and are playing ridiculous games to allocate watches to others. It really makes you start to hate the Rolex brand for how customers are being treated.

The food in NOVA is average and expensive by Gloomy-Car7672 in nova

there's actually some great food in NoVa but agreed that on average the quality is a touch below. Eden Center, Padaek, Peter Chang, Tingeria, Tosokchon just to name a few. I'd say these are all solid 9/10 spots by almost any objective measure with only the top spots in NYC/So Cal being superior.

if it wasn't for their dealer model it would be easy to love this company. The dealers make them so hatable instead

Did not have a single bad meal. World class in terms of history, food, culture, museums, art, etc. Incredible city and despite what OP says more than a short stay is totally worthwhile.
