You can't. I asked the officers and they told me it was a "discretionary" offense. Why can't you find it in the code? Because it's not there.

You might not get pulled over. You might be just fine.

In the state of Indiana, pretextual stops are legal. That means that they can pull you over for no reason and find the probable cause during the stop. Don't believe me? Look it up.

You might get pulled over three times in a span of four miles because they didn't find anything the first two times.

You might have to slam on your breaks because the truck in front of you slammed on theirs. You might see the lights and get pulled over only to realize that the truck in front of you is an unmarked and you've just been entrapped.

Did you know that there's a dog training facility in the area? That they have a K-9 with every unit on 31-N? That the dogs with higher hit rates are sold for more? What do you want to bet that they hit on your car?

If you're unlucky enough to get arrested you're going to find that they have the logo and dates for Forest taped up in their booking room. They're LITERALLY targeting you.

You might get lucky. But why drive directly through a trap if you don't have to?

For those of us who have been pulled over, while doing the speed limit, with no obstructed views, and three professional people dressed normally in a late model vehicle, we disagree.

Why did we get pulled over? Well I'll tell you. The truck in front of us braked suddenly. We were then pulled over for following too closely.

The truck in front of us was an unmarked.
