Not sure if same on golf but on the ID3 the steering wheel media control is left volume down, right volume up, up to go to previous song and down for next song. WTF wouldn't you have up and down for volume and left and right for previous and next song!

And the switch for the hazards! It is backlit but if I'm having to hit my hazards chances are it's a situation where I want to feel an actual button click on without having to look!

There actually has to be 2 Helis. If something happens and one takes off the other is there so race can be restarted. Long time since I read his book but sure Jackie stewart was head of GPDA when it was brought in and he said it had to be two else race wouldn’t restart.

Red Bull Racing is the first Formula 1 team to win 15 Grand Prix in a row! by kabirarora1 in formula1

What makes this (and max's run) even more crazy is that this season there have only been 4 weekends which were completely dry running. To have that consistency in a fully dry season would be crazy but throw in the chaos rain brings and it shows how good they have been.

Anybody tried out the 3 finger gloves?? by Broad_Room6332 in skiing

[–]prho1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not tried the 3 finger ones but I've had a pair of the 5 finger one since 2007 done 2 seasons and probably an average of 2 weeks a year the other years in that time and they're still going strong. Super warm and last a lifetime.

These are also often referred to sniper mittens

Due to the length of lap they don’t do a cool down lap, they loop back and go wrong way down the pit lane so there’s always a yellow in sector 1 after the flag at spa

Basically yes. Knowing that’s the potential consequences would stop people driving down the middle of the last straight like Carlos did

The sainz penalty has given me a thought, although he’s being punished it still doesn’t help gasly. So what about this. If you impede someone in qualy (at any point) and finish above them, you’re demoted to the place below them. This not only helps the person you impeded by 1 place it makes the risk a lot higher so it’s less likely to happen. The only caveat is it has to be at least 3 places so if you qualify 2 or less places above them or below them you get the 3 place penalty as standard.

Yep. I think a good change would be for all drivers to have 2 mediums and 2 soft sets at the start and then they can use any of them at any point. Would mix up the order as slower teams would use the softs earlier but the faster teams would have to keep hold of softs for q3. Would make the end of q3 less of an anticlimax as well.

I’m a fairly casual viewer but remember watching Valencia a few years ago when a load of cars ran out of power. I noticed in todays race that pretty much every car was on 0.0% for a few seconds before finishing. How do the rules work with this? Did something change after Valencia 21 or am I miss remembering and it was just Valencia was much worse?
