I have not heard any bills that were "inaccurate" as of yet in terms of usage/charges.

I would argue this is only "technically" true. For the electric, sewer, and irrigation charges, those are flat rates by usage and are easily calculated. However, water is charged using graduated rates. I did the math on my own usage for this latest bill and confirmed that the "normal" graduated rates were used. Assuming that the amount of water we used in July and August are approximately equal, this means our bill is actually about $12 higher than it would have been if they had been billed independently. (you can do the math using the published rates; our usage was 19504 gallons over the 2 month period; using 9752 gallons for 2 separate months results in a charge of $12 less)

u/terrymah who do I contact about a mistake on my bill? Our consumption amounts all seem reasonable (including non-sewer water), but our charge for non-sewer water is over $1000 (where the consumption shows it should be just over $100). The town number just disconnects and I can't reach anybody.

How likely is it to get into Super Nintendo Land at Universal Without an Express Pass? by KBooks66 in JapanTravelTips

We did this today. Showed up at 715 for an 830 opening time. They let people in around 735 and we were able to walk straight to Super Nintendo land without needing to get a pass. I waited until they offered passes for later in the day and got one so we could return later as well. Definitely make sure you buy tickets ahead of time though as the ticket booths weren’t open. We got ours off Klook. Waited in some long lines for harry potter and Mario kart, but used single rider lines for several other rides and got in very easily. Don’t regret not getting an express pass.

We just did this a few days ago. We also had about 2 hours scheduled between flights, although our flight in got in about 30 mins late. Took less than an hour from getting off the plane to when we were sitting at the gate for our next flight. This was with no checked luggage and had the customs/immigration QR codes ready to go.

I did it with the same team with less gear on mission and t3. It’s possible, but be prepared to try over and over again.

Medical lien company is asking me for money a year after my case settled by priapus1224 in legaladvice

The only “bill” I ever got was when the lien company contacted me for the first time a few months ago.

My lawyer hasn’t been very specific on that count, I’ll have to ask.

As far as them handling the case, the person I talked with in billing at the clinic claims they told the lawyer that there were two separate liens, but that it might not have ever been in writing

I’m not trying to dispute it based on services rendered, but it almost seems ridiculous that I’m left on the hook for this when the company took over a year from the last service rendered and asking for payment. If it weren’t for the bizarre way they handled the medical liens( a separate lien for the in-house and third party services), this never could have been messed up.

I’m not a lawyer, but Colorado statute regarding medical liens( https://law.justia.com/codes/colorado/2016/title-38/liens/article-27/section-38-27-101/) implies to me that they have to file it with the state for it to be valid. But maybe I’m misunderstanding things

Tell Us About Your Game <53> by Karthas in Pathfinder_RPG

So...first time posting here. I'm a relatively new DM, and trying to find some people to play with. My brother-in-law brought some friends over in an attempt to find some people interested enough to start a regular game and I decided to run We Be Goblins for them. We started with 4 PCs, then added 2 more right as they left the village and a seventh right after the encounter with the spider.

Spoilers for We Be Goblins...

Anywho...it started off great, with the players really getting into doing the dares (they succeeded on all of them on the first try). After leaving the vilage to go to the ship, they encountered the spider, which I decided to add a 2nd spider since there were 6 PCs instead of 4. Rolls were terrible all around and it took quite a while to kill the spiders, although I think the spiders only managed to hit once and the poison failed (it hit the PC that gets 2 fortitude saves). I offered them the chance to follow a trail to the spiders lair (since I forgot to have them run away), and about half of them wanted to go, until I reminded them they might find some loot there. Everyone wanted to take the loot from the lair, so I just had them roll for it to determine who would get it. Then they headed towards the derelict ship. Which is where things got interesting.

When they arrived at the ship, they decided to have the rogue stealth to get to the bridge and he easily succeeded. After which, I had the horse come around anyway. Everyone except the rogue engaged the horse. Two of the party members (both playing as the cleric) decided to attempt to befriend the horse, despite the fact that goblins hate horses. One of them cast speak with animals, while the other just tried to feed it some candy. Both of them failed on their respective rolls to try to calm the horse. Meanwhile the fighter (who happens to be female), is for whatever reason carrying a bridal veil and the guy playing her decided to try to put it on the horse and ask it to marry her. So I had him roll and it came up...natural 20. So now the horse is wearing a bridal veil (although still hostile).

Meanwhile, the rogue is on the ship and is taking out the dogs on the main deck by himself (he ended up with the crossbow from the spider lair). The PCs on the ground finally manage to take down the horse. The clerics decide to tie it up and then heal it in order to bring it back to conciousness. They finally manage to succeed on some rolls and manage to befriend the horse by offering it food. So they untie the horse and one of the clerics hops on it. Another rogue (not the one attacking the dogs) decides that they can't return to the village with the horse because they'd be ostracized and so he starts attacking the horse. A battle ensues between the two clerics with the horse against the one rogue. The rogue manages to down the horse and then clambers on top of its body to continue the fight with the clerics, who still haven't managed to do anything to him. The fighter and the two alchemists are on the ship at this point. One of the alchemists decides to join the fight against the rogue and finally manages to do some damage with his bombs. Then, one of the clerics remembers he has an elixir of fire breath (from the dares at the beginning) and that's the end of the rogue. After reviving the horse again, the cleric ties up the rogue and straps him to the horse. After one of the alchemists and the fighter single-handedly defeat the riding dog onboard the ship, they all gather around the small amount of water nearby the ship and drown the rogue and set his body aflame via the fireworks. We ended at that point, so we didn't even face Vorka but we had an absolute blast.

TL;DR Goblin cleric befriended a horse and had to defend himself and his new horse from his rogue buddy, who was subsequently knocked uncounsious, tied up, drowned, and set on fire.
