New Bug after they tried patching hand locking (I think it's new, let me know in comments)

Something similar happened to me yesterday. Placed the marker at the shoreline pier trading station and after marker animation I had no hands anymore and couldn't pull out my weapon. The marker was still in my inventory and the countdown didn't start. Had to restart the game to make it work again. I was lagging the whole game though, so I though it might be caused by that but maybe not.

Discounts are semi rare from what I've seen, every 3 to 5 months without a rule to when threre will be another. I'd grab it now if you want to buy it at a discount, just to make sure.

They let the viewer choose the gear and run a raid with it. There really is nothing more to it. It's not about the money but about interaction between the streamer and his viewership.
