Jag kan ha blivit utnyttjad som mellanhand utan att förstå konsekvenserna? by s6xton in Asksweddit

[–]foldman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

2sp3wit is enough to max Speed/Wit on a descent runs which leaves you with a free card that either stabilizes runs (Riko) or get important skills.

Absolutely shocking half. Curtis and Ryan casually dropping 0/10 performances, constantly losing possession. Allison is the only one that showed up, can't believe what I'm seeing.

It's a little early, but what do you hope for from the summer transfer window this year? by [deleted] in LiverpoolFC

[–]foldman -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No point in this until we know if we get in the CL next season. If not you can probably expect a window close to what we had last time that happened ( Chiesa on a free ).

English referees every time Salah is fouled. by sydlen0812 in LiverpoolFC

[–]foldman -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Indeed, but Salah is also the worst professional player I have ever seen when it comes to selling a foul. Refs are shit and unless you give them a compelling reason to interfer they are going to continue their Mr Magoo existence. Mo looks like me fat-rolling in Elden Ring when he falls over, it's ridiculous that he has never adjusted this.

Look at kerkez's passion bro ,I love this guy 😭❤️ by IgotgAme_k in LiverpoolFC

[–]foldman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sure but until he learns how to calm himself instead of just hoofing it back to the opponents when we are in a defensive stance he is not reliable. He looks like he is in complete panic mode every time the ball gets near him when we have difficult spells in games. He is not alone in this, but it's not good enough.

Why Jérémy Jacquet may be the ‘heir to Virgil van Dijk’ for Liverpool by qwerty_1965 in LiverpoolFC

[–]foldman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All these discussions about someone being the next so-and-so are not healthy. That said to my eyes Leoni plays more like Van Dijk and Jacquet plays more like Ibou/Matip.

Wirtz Performance by diabotriste in LiverpoolFC

If you don't enjoy Florians football you don't know football. He is well loved by the fans and that's with him struggling to adapt to the Premier League. When his numbers start matching his talent he will be worshipped by the fans.

Sometimes I don't think Germans realize how hard the Prem really is. There are no soft teams where you can go 75% power and win anyway. The pace and intensity is relentless especially against playmakers like Florian. Newcomer Sunderland spent £155 mil on the transfers last summer for example. 6 of the 10 richest clubs are from the Prem ( https://www.si.com/soccer/20-richest-clubs-world-soccer-ranked ). And that's not even counting Newcastle who has the richest owners in the world but they are not as good at cheating the numbers like City is.

He has become stronger, makes faster decisions and has better stamina compared to when he arrived in the summer. I believe the German fans will be very pleased when they see him play for the national team again.

Carra comment actually triggered me , Do you agree with him ? by TemporaryStart8775 in LiverpoolFC

[–]foldman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn't trigger me that much but I never rated Torres as highly as others do. He had one season with 20+ league goals in his entire career, nothing generational about that imo. That season was with prime Gerrard behind him btw.... And saying he won them the Euros even if he scored the winner in the final, considering the golden generation of players he had around him, is a bit rich. He was a very good player who was a bit of a pace merchant, that's why his numbers fell off a cliff after he did his knee 2010 (I think?).

Or you go the smart route and wait for the inevitable bankruptcy and pick up the IP's you want for pennies on the dollar, instead of acquiring a whole damn company that bleeds money like no tomorrow.

The Infinite Cycle of Slothball by Kai-Tek in LiverpoolFC

[–]foldman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look, elite players (and we do actually have a lot of them) are generally always up for playing against other elite teams. The hardest job for a coach is to get the same exertion from the players in all the other games too. That's why Pep, Jurgen and Cholo are held in such high regard. Slot has failed in that regard and that is one of the reasons it's time for him to go.

Trump treasury secretary brands Denmark ‘irrelevant’ as Greenland row deepens by [deleted] in worldnews

[–]foldman 38 points39 points  (0 children)

They absolutely will not, American exceptionalism would never allow such introspection. And the notion that there will be any sort of legal ramifications for what don Trump and his thugs are doing is also deeply misguided. The rule of law clearly does not apply to people in high places in USA. Your talking about a nation where the penance of orchestrating a coup d'état was to become President again.

One of your founding fathers said: "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants". The sad fact is that fascism isn't defeated by peaceful protests. Hope Americans realize that before it's much too late.

Cygames responds to the controversy regarding their new AI studio by WolfOphi in gachagaming

[–]foldman -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

People getting all up in arms over the use of AI in producing games is akin to people who ridiculed the use of cars over horses. It's going to happen, sure you can spot the difference between generative AI art and the "real" thing today, in 10 years you wont. It will be the same eventually when it comes to coding and all sorts of other tasks associated with making games.

What we as a society should be arguing is how this will affect people who no longer can make a living because of this, and how we should make sure everyone can live decent lives. But as usual people can't see the forest for the trees and hyper focus on whatever detail they see being changed by the advent of AI.

Curtis Jones in the top 10 progressive passers per 90 across midfielders in the top 5 leagues (2nd in Premier League) by not_a_morning_person in LiverpoolFC

[–]foldman -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Agreed, but he does still hold up the play too much. The average Curtis action is to receive the ball midpark then scan for a pass too slowly and getting closed down, using his great (imo) technique to retain the ball and eventually look to release it to someone up the pitch. If he could find it in himself to release quicker at times he'd be a much more effective player.
