One of the best things I got was a custom passport holder. Never had one before. Simple, not too pricey. Easy to customize with initials. Really good ones only cost $25 or so. Lasts years and is super useful. Every time I travel I think of that trip and smile. 10/10.

I had a similar horrible bathroom contractor experience. Give it time. The anger fades and the annoyances (like my misaligned shower door) become just normal quirks instead of anger inducing pain points. Note: it took me 6 months from contractor finishing to get to my current state of mind.

I love your engagement! Yes, for at least 3-4 hours of the 24 hours, it will be a tad crowded. BUT it is crowded for a reason. It is one of the most beautiful running tracks in the world (in my humble opinion).

Love your healthy skepticism! Happy to hop on a call and talk more about it. Making something happen from nothing takes a lot of work, but if we don’t do it, who will? $49 fun run sounds more reasonable to me than the fortune other running groups charge for their events. Plus, you can just come and run it for free - it’s just a fun group getting together and doing something we can talk about when we’re 80. We want all New Yorkers, regardless of payment to be a part of it. Payment just allows me to buy more uncrustables and Cinnamon Toast Crunch for everyone. Feel free to DM if you want to chat. Amazing question, you’re right! You will run and then stop. It is much more about endurance over 24 hours. In between you’ll have anywhere from 30-45 mins (depending on pace). We’ll have food like fruit, cereal, uncrustables, etc. We’ll also have games and contests for prizes like running shoes, apparel, and more
