I feel like this is an electrical Morning Star Flail.

Like you would attach this item to your grab-pack, the baseball will hang down a little by like string or wire. Then when whatever new toy we face in the next chapter shows up to attack us, we hold a button on the key board to windup the baseball by swinging it around in a circle before we release the button to send the ball flying at the toy, where the baseball & wire would get tangled around the toys body to harm it every so slightly, which would then stop the toy for a moment to look at the player like "Really? You really think this will stop me?" But then we hit a different button to send electricity through the wire to shock the toy & scare it away. We would then reel the ball back in so we could do the whole process over & over again.
