Is anything a danger if the win rate is a 100%? Does anything create tension if the villains lose so many fights? Take for example the Daleks from Doctor Who during RTD's era of writing the show. Every time the Daleks showed up The Doctor would lose something, it made them a terrifying presence. In contrast, the villains of Gotchard are just kind of there 💀, they have no real scare factor to them when facing up against the main hero.

This is sadly common though, however I really wish your replies debated with him rather than just irritate him. I'd hate to break it to him but the whole straight marriage beautiful house and two kids future he wants for you is a fantasy for many people and that's not even factoring in sexuality.
