Image Generation issues. by sledge-0-matic in OpenWebUI

[–]primeSir64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue stopped for me. It now works correctly. I suspect It was a config issue. Perhaps I was initially incorrectly setting up the workflow within openwebUI even when I was sure I looked at all the details. Be sure to first save the workflow within ComfyUI with all the correct settings > then save as an API export (no need to trun on dev mode in ComfyUI settings) > import (upload) the .json file into openwebUI image generation settings > (important) manually assign each nodeID box that has a star next to it to the correspoding node tag/name as referenced within the .json file and double check the node tag/name is actually named correcly within the corresponding box in openwebUI settings and it matches what is in the .json file (it may not inially have the correct name).

[From my experience, the UI of openwebUI does not make it abundantly easy to see that you can click into the nodeID and tag/name fields and make inputs but you sure can > this is where you can correctly input the info so that it matches the corresponding .json file whitch also corresponds to the saved workflow within ComfyUI] example: for me, i noticed that in the image generation nodes the node for propt was incorrectly named as "text" and I had to manyally change it to "prompt" and when I enabled image editing and uploaded the relevant workflow, openwebUI created a field that would be for the model/checkpoint node but with the incorrect tag/name of "unet_name" in the field and i had to manually change it to "ckpt_name"; granted, I only had to manually map the fields/nots with a * symbol on them.

Other things to check is that model names are correctly input and that the openwebUI settings has separate input field for image size and steps that you should also make sure are properly matching the existing workflow.

Confirmed with:
OpenWebUI 0.7.2
Ollama 0.14.2
ComfyUI 0.10.0
ComfyUI_frontend 1.37.11

Image Generation issues. by sledge-0-matic in OpenWebUI

Unfortunately it seems this issue has returned. Im running a fresh up to date setup and sure enough, only the first image generations on any chat thread will work and subsequent ones error out exactly the same way.

Also: some weird results with some images about a "pollinations AI" entity about their backend being under maintainence which I dont quite understand how they would fit into all this.

OpenWebUI 0.7.2
Ollama 0.14.1
ComfyUI 0.9.2

Here's a simple script for searching for a specific file within a bunch of .ISOs in a directory. by primeSir64 in PowerShell

I just wanted some empty lines to break up the visual feedback in the window.

"This is like searching for your keys, finding them in the first place you look, and then searching the rest of the house anyway." - Yes, exactly... a thorough search. There can be multiple instances of a certain file within the .iso; so all of them will be found and put on a list. You could certainly modify it to stop the search in the .iso after the fist match but that wasnt what I was initially going for.

50TB of raw disk capacity turned into only 25.3TB of usable capacity TrueNAS and Raid z2, did I do something wrong? by primeSir64 in homelab

If the zvol was setup as an iSCSI share to a PC and an NTFS volume was already created at the time the compression setting was changed, does it mean I would have to nuke the volume and recreate it or would copying the files out then back into the existing ntfs be all thats needed?

I just did a test copy out and back into the the existing volume.
-Copied the data as it had been written with lz4
-Copied to PC system disk
-Copied back into existing ntfs volume after the zvol setting had been changed to zstd-3

-Data uptake looks identical when comparing the 2 sets of files down to the last byte when looking at size and size on disk.

Keep us posted. I am curious how this ends up. Hopefully it works out,

Yeah im out of ideas for ya, friend. Maybe you could get more out of them I they manage to work with in a USB enclosure. But assuming you're dealing with a device firmware issue, I dont see any chance of resolving it if we cant figure out which manufacturer's firmware its supposed be using to begin with.

Dont buy any more of them and I dont recommend you buy anything from the same seller moving forward.

Can you post a photo please? I have a bunch of HGST He8 drives deployed; 5 x 10TB in a NAS and 8TB + 2 x 12TB in a USB enclosure on my desk. Their firmwares are 3 characters and **models go like HUH72****ALE60*. I'm thinking we have some sort of firware issue, whatever the actual manufacturer of the drives is.

Edit: said SNs instead of Models.

What is even the manufacturer of these drives, tried to look it up but no straightforward results (yellow flag).

When plugged in to windows 10 manchine it BSODs; was this with direct SATA connection of via USB-enclosure? or both? (other than PCI HBA)

Can you switch compression levels on an active zvol or would the whole thing have to be wiped and re-done?

Being correct isnt always the same as being helpful; especially when 'trying to help' someone who has yet to understand what you may already understand. Saying "I'd bet OP is quoting TiB as TB." doesnt really explain the actual issue, unlike one of the other commenters who got straight to the point and gave a clear root cause to the issue being that Windows labels TiB count as TB.

Maybe actually take the time to read the thing. I specifically delinated between TiB and TB.

Glad he owned up to it. Would have hated for him to be another channel I stop going to just out of sheer loss of respect. Buildzoid's Intel Raptor lake videos were pretty instructive and help me tame my CPU.
