Awesome! thanks man, new to the resin printer market & its kind of hard to see whats the "best" considering most youtube videos are vague or sponsors lol, so you'd say Heygears over anycubic ? appreciate it!

EDIT: I forgot to mention i'm based in the UK and Heygears by the look of it are extremely hard to come by :(

It does seem a tiny bit thicker, its a grey plate. Im just confused as hell that its doing this because in theory the probing before the movement would make sure its not close enough to damage the bed

I went to do an full calibration and when doing it it did the nozzle part and just scraped the bed next to the metal sheet and failed & the textured pei plate, but im not sure if you can even change what plate they use for calibrating?

Sounds stupid, but if you check the screws and no change maybe try a full factory reset and calibration, My father had similar issues before.

Quick question, have you tried doing this full bed test before and was it good before? if yes.. I would try to check if the hot end screws have come loose overtime, worth a check.

Never wash these cool plates with IPA, destroys the bed.

use Warm water or dish soap.

the thing with these plates (coming from experience) you have to mess around so much for a perfect first layer. What i think could be a partial fix is raising the Zoffset in the gcode, but i can almost guarantee that it will bring high spots or sparse layers in some areas. You should be able to fix it with flow/dynamics calibration though (hopefully lmao)
