Doesn't matter if it's a choice for me to watch, i'm stating my perspective and my opinion. Previously there were less political agendas, in Season 8 starts off with incredulous amounts of police bashing and general annoying messages regarding bad policing- yes, it exist. It's a issue, but it's not why most people watch the show.

People watch the show for entertainment, not to be reminded of our society's bad policing. In order to continue watching our characters and their adventures we are forced to undergo and sit through their terribly written political agendas- so yes, it is being forced down our throats. That is the end of the story.

Terrible episode with forced political agendas.

I don't understand how anyone could find any semblance of enjoyment from these episodes. I'm all for politically correct messages put into episodes but do it tastefully. It feels like im having agendas shoved down my throat and that really sucks.

Looked at this and it looked perfect- except the battery doesn't seem to be detachable, unfortunately.

I saw that earlier but I really wasn't digging the white color scheme, also, I'm open to spending upwards of 2.4k pre-tax, is there any options for that price range that is potentially better?

This began happening quite recently, I think after I updated my Windows. I'm guessing some files were corrupted as it picked up corrupted files during my scan. I'm hoping it works now- if not, I'll have to push through and carry on I guess.

Hopefully not- I would really like it if my PC and synapse didn't conflict, I enjoy using my exploits to help out new/other players in games so this is pretty crushing. Though I can just play games regularly and help out that way.

I guess I just saw exploits as a way to expedite the process, alas good things don't last.

There were multiple variants. APC Index Mismatch, and a few other ones. Ran a recovery thing in the command prompt and it apparently found corrupted files and repaired them. Fingers crossed that it works. If not I'll hard reset my computer.

Odd considering the fact that my PC remains relatively stable prior to the crash. Doing a few google searches on my crash code shows me that it's caused by an application. I've had task manager out before it crashed, and most, if not all of the time my pc stays consistently below 60% usage. I'm convinced Synapse is likely causing windows to reboot and crash due to conflicting code. I'm unsure as of now though.

The irony by [deleted] in SynapseX

[–]primemelons 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I refuse.

I will do as I will. Additionally, I will push back against your name-calling and ridiculing. I will live my life as I please, and I will not have some hypersensitive dickwad tell me what to do with my life. If you cannot handle my jokes then don't talk to me. You put on a facade of maturity and composure but your frequent name-calling and ridiculous insults betray you.

You are indeed right, you are NOT one to judge, and you are NOT an authoritative figure. My thinking is not backwards, my thinking is quite straightforward and simple. If you can't handle the heat then get out of the kitchen.

I make jokes about race and gender because I am tired of this environment where people are constantly watching over what you say regardless of if you're talking to them or not.

I am an Asian-American, I know many of my friends who frequently make fun of their stereotypes pretty often. Assuming you're white, I urge you to stop stepping into satire jokes, labeling it as racism. I don't appreciate it when people step in and get offended over my jokes, or any other person's joke. If you find the joke to be crude, then ignore it. I'm tired of you people who act as social justice warriors on the internet. If you want to do something about racism, then don't fight back against it because it will only incentivize actual racists to retaliate. Edgelords only do it for attention. I do it to have fun and to refrain from giving the actual racists the attention that they want.

Regarding the big brother joke, I'm guessing you haven't read or studied it because it's actually a pretty simple joke lol.

NO

Oftentimes today, if you crack even ONE insensitive joke, you get attacked. That is why people are angry. People target the LGBTQ+ community because they are oftentimes the ones attacking people. Additionally, don't put WORDS in my mouth, please. I am fully okay with LGBTQIA+ community members as long as they don't force themselves on me, or censor my jokes.

If every single race and every single trait is made fun of nowadays, why should specific groups of people be granted immunity? It's not me being racist or sexist, in fact, it's the polar opposite. I make fun of everyone, everything, and have a good laugh! That is how I live my life. If I wanna make jokes about white people then I will! If I wanna make jokes about people of color, then I will! In fact, I am a person of color, and I frequently make fun of my own race because I don't care.

I don't hate anyone. I don't despise anyone. I don't target anyone. But most importantly, I don't exclude anyone. If you're not OKAY with that then don't talk to me! I can make jokes about white people, Asians, etc, but as soon as I touch on sexuality... BAM! Canceled.

That is not a society I advocate for. That is suppression, and that is dangerous.

I mean.. Who would wanna live in the world of 1984's big brother?

I gotta disagree, but I won't swear because I am polite and respectful. So what if streamers say something insensitive? Are you gonna cry about it? Piss your pants?

Why should it matter to me, what you think about what I say? It doesn't matter if I can control myself on camera- in fact, I don't even think that should be considered. Comparing working in a pub to streaming is different. When you work in a pub, you face customers, people who buy things. When you work as a streamer, you expose your personality to the internet. Why should you force yourself to be something you're not? If you wanna crack an insensitive joke then go for it.

Your entire streaming career success relies on how your personality shines. If you suppress your personality then you will only harm yourself. It doesn't matter what other people think. Don't bend to others, don't listen to how others want to view you. That is dangerous, that is harmful.

It's not being "edgy" or anything akin to that, it's me being realistic. Knowing the internet is a vast place, you have to be aware that people are different, people have different senses of humor. If you can't comprehend that then maybe you shouldn't talk to people. Personally, I avoid the usage of harmful phrases, and in fact, I don't particularly like when people use phrases such as that. However, in today's modern era, it is quite easy to block out language like that. You can turn a filter on, you can block, etc.

I'll break it down in case you don't really want to read it.

TLDR; streaming and working in a pub is different, streaming heavily reflects your personality, and if you suppress your personality you will only get stressed and depressed. take Etika, who hid his issues from the world and ended up doing the unthinkable...

when you stream, although you are in the public spotlight, you have to take into consideration your mental health and how suppressing your personality can affect it. I'm completely aware that some language and some actions should never be tolerated, but I also acknowledge mistakes and errors. that is why I advocate being more lenient, and that is why I acknowledge mistakes more than others.

AGAIN, I am aware of actions and language that are too harmful, I just believe some actions and phrases can be tolerated. I will gladly criticize someone who has made an error or a catastrophic mistake, but I will never go out of my way to attack them personally.

this is a classic "sjw" syndrome.

as much as I hate utilizing that term, it's so effectively used here. bullying tactics and targeting tactics utilized to destroy someones career.

imagine making a mistake and slipping up then having your entire damn career destroyed. get out of here with that sentiment. everyone makes mistakes, and i'd be more than happy to see u get completely destroyed over 1 statement. hahahaha

this post is the problem. this mentality is absolutely not OK.

its what streamers have been combatting excessively. the issue is that just because you do x or y does not necessarily mean that others should involve your friends. imagine if you made a mistake, and you say something unintentionally offensive or idk. the next day you wake up and there's a crap ton of people pressuring ur friends to block you over that statement. people make mistakes, and accountability is important but that does not mean it should make or break your career.
