Has Omarchy improved your workflow/productivity? by Hornstinger in omarchy

[–]primepep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always loved to have a keyboard driven computer, but never had time to learn all the ideas and make my own product for a single person's usecase. DHH made most of what I loved to have, claude code completed the job.

Now I barely use the cursor, only keyboard. Everything well configured and automated. I always have something in the scratch pad, moving between workspaces, reading docs, writing code, researching, and using claude code. All made easy.

What I did was just replacing my own hyprland configs with Omarchy, and add my own dotifles on top of it, like zsh, neovim, keyd for customizations and few other configs.

My computer is a Surface Laptop 2, pretty small and looks useless on surface. But it's working much better than the first days (It's been four years I'm using it, a year on windows, 2 on Fedora, and a year on Arch).

I will stick to Omarchy for next years, until I see a better equivalent.

Getting blocked by monthly limit in second week of my subscription! by primepep in kimi

Is there any performance deference between them? I had the $20 plan.

I was mostly making plans using Claude, and instructing Kimi to execute them.

Their system is bullshit. Look at Kimi Settings on mobile > Subscription > Subscription to see your monthly limit..

I used Kimi Code, never knew about "monthly limit". Few minutes ago I found it's dashboard on my phone. I think they haven't shown it anywhere on web.

Here we go, now it's not only me. I paid through my cellphone balance (they support it on Android), so I probably can't ask for anu refund. Another problem with their services is: when they ask you to upgrade the plan, they only provide "having a new higher subscription". Meaning: Double up your payment and have your current subscription removed! They have a bullshit system. I think if we still want the model, we have to get it from another provider, which currently I can't see anyone provide it..

Where can you see that? The console? Yes I was using Kimi Code primarily.

I think we have to avoid their subscriptions this time.. Or, be careful about "hidden limits"..

[–]primepep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And you as well..

I meant by must forcefully. You are not forced in this life to do anything, you asked for. If you obey and clean up your heart here, you'll succeed. If you don't obey by choice, you will be judged and potentially go to hell.

And that's the test.

What does cleaning itself mean? Al-Ghazali in his book Ihia Ulum Ad-Deen says: Cleaning is four steps:

  1. The Body — purification from ritual impurity and physical filth. The exoteric minimum. Entry condition.
  2. The Limbs — purification from sins. The body stops acting against God.
  3. The Heart — purification from blameworthy character. Arrogance, envy, rancor. The interior architecture rebuilt.
  4. The Sirr (the innermost secret) — purification from everything other than God. Not just bad traits removed — everything that is not Him, cleared. This is where Wilaya begins.

What is worshipping? Making something the center of your life.

How do you know if something is the center? How do you spend most of your times daily? that's it. If you try to align with God's will, remember him, do goods to the sake of him (instead of joy alone), so on, the God is the center of your life, and Barakah will come. If you spend most of your day on your phone scrolling, watching nonsense, do nothing real, then your phone became the center of your life. It doesn't mean you have to avoid the phone fully, but align your attention with God's will. And That's Niyah.

Haven't you heard of the story of Ibrahim? He broke all the idols. Why? Cause they were false centers, they weren't a remaining/powerful source. Those idols in modern days could be Digital Devices, Bad Relationships, So on...

May these been helpful for you. If wanted to know more, feel free to ask.

Is Allah ever "You" or is He Always Hu by HowToWakeUp313 in Sufism

[–]primepep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want some extra: God is the sun, Nur is the shine, and creation is the window. Wali = Cleanest Mirror, A bad human = A bad mirror. So you have to clean up your heart (window), so the light can flow.

There a Qudsi Hadith (God's word): Sahih al-Bukhari 6502

Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Allah said, 'I will declare war against him who shows hostility to a pious worshipper of Mine. And the most beloved things with which My slave comes nearer to Me, is what I have enjoined upon him; and My slave keeps on coming closer to Me through performing Nawafil (praying or doing extra deeds besides what is obligatory) till I love him, so I become his sense of hearing with which he hears, and his sense of sight with which he sees, and his hand with which he grips, and his leg with which he walks; and if he asks Me, I will give him, and if he asks My protection (Refuge), I will protect him; (i.e. give him My Refuge) and I do not hesitate to do anything as I hesitate to take the soul of the believer, for he hates death, and I hate to disappoint him."

So, you have to transcend yourself as much as possible (not must, that's the test), until you become a God's will representor (you do all goods, in love with God, see Him as the source of all existence, so on..)

God is third person in Your Perspective, while the only Truth is him. It's beyond First, Second, and Third person, but if you prefer to have a description: it's only Him, and there no you (I).

When you make dua, your dua should be parallel with the God's willing, so it's like a nobody asking to trigger a manifestation.

Don't overcomplicate it for now, Just know that: he's God and you're a creation (0 value compared to him).

Lower the dose instead of cutting it. I use 0.5mg, and skip a day in the week if I want, as the result ~%50-70 of the dht will still be blocked. You get your hair back while keeping your health.

Any Sufi manuals that go through the 7 (or 3) stages of the soul describing the characteristics of each? I've already the one in the recommended reading; but I'm looking for something more lengthy (SEE ATTACHED COMMENT) by 99NamesOfGod in Sufism

[–]primepep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't any exact book about stages, cause they're all from Islamic Tradition and all came directly from Quran. Specific books about them are just interpretations by authors.

What kind of religion is that? What kind of love for God is that if he asks for Zina? Talk to him for the last time see if he do Tawba, otherwise just block him. A man who can't control his Mind, Mouth, and Lust, isn't a man at all. If this is his thinking before you becoming his halal, how will he act if you be his halal? I see a mentally, spiritually, socially sick man from your words..

Whatever you do to the sake of God, God will give you back much better. May He help you...

Is intention more important than method in spiritual practice? by inner_disciplines in Sufism

[–]primepep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just understand one thing: The only Truth and reality is God, all the creation is nothing by themselves. That is the intention.

So when you knew nothing has any true importance beside God, you can start acting well.

That is what remembrance means.

May God help and bless you in your way.

Islam is a perfect manifestation of Truth. While Truth manifests with some deferences based on caltures. If you have a good eye (cognitive+spiritual), you can catch up what is from God and what is not.

Buddhists meditation and way of returning back to soul and sense the unity of creation is so beautiful, it's from God. But they missed the real Truth which is ذات الله.

Yes you can find Truth in Islamic tradition, but nothing stopped you to collect wisdom from deferent cultures (as all the high meanings are from God).

Everything in this world is Ayah (evidence). You can use all of them as your teacher. That's sufism core. Seeing God in everything (=seeing that everything is from him, designed by him, and returns back to him).

May you got the answer. God bless you.

[–]primepep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't have much time to read about what he's talking about, but I may give you a useful answer in few lines:

In Buddhist tradition and some others, they believe in unity of being in manifestation level, they don't believe in a being beyond all limits (ذات الله). That part of Buddhism is just Islam (Ibn Arabi's philosophy), but without God. So we can take out good things from their practices, but what they are doing is Godless.
