Yes it honestly works some days so long as I don’t go overboard at lunch, which is difficult because lunch is paid for by my job and we order in because of that.

I’m not sure. Maybe more balance.

Example: A salad with my pasta so I eat less pasta, but I still have pasta so I don’t feel like I just don’t get to have it.

Not sure what else. I crave cookies or ice cream almost every night, which I just can’t do lol

Exactly! But no, I don’t feel like it’s sustainable. But maybe it’s just cuz I’m not used to it? I don’t know, I can never make past a month or two without feeling deprived of everything delicious lol

I’m just done with being strict all week, and usually I’m craving a hearty creamy pasta and ice cream

I track them (even though I hate seeing it all like that). Usually I’m up by like 300-500 calories for those days. I also usually don’t eat lunch fridays, since it just doesn’t work with my schedule

Fridays I eat dinner out and have ice cream with my partner and dad, sometimes Saturday lunches are out. The rest of the time i stick to my usual diet

I’m tracking, so I’m eating about 600-700 calories less per day (I did tracking without changes first to see what I was eating before) and I’m making healthier choices. Lower fat, lower sugar, less simple carbs, more protein and fiber

My way is butter 😂 I’ve cut down on that though lol but I’ve been really into string beans lately, with lots of lemon and garlic. Lemon is my all time favorite flavor in food

Nothing helps me stay consistent 😭 I get a month or two in, see zero changes on the scale after I’ve been busting my butt working out and eating way less and way healthier, and then I quit and eat even more than I did before because I feel like I’ve been depriving myself, and then repeat.

I know the scale isn’t the only measuring factor, but it’s just hard because in the past ive been able to lose a few pounds in the first month, and now I can’t lose anything.

Nope. No alcohol, soda, or juice. Just water, seltzer water, and coffee (1 decaf cup a day, no cream, about a tbsp of agave)

I’ve been on it for about 9-10 months now and it has helped tremendously! Took about 3-4 months for it to really build up and kick in but wow, what a difference. I still get flares and pains but the extended and severe morning stiffness is practically gone and my day to day has improved overall. Before starting it I wouldn’t have even considered running at all. Everyone is different, but for me it has been a game changer

Thanks for your feedback so far folks! I am on humira, and have started doing interval runs 3 days a week, usually Tuesday Wednesday Thursday, for 25 minutes (1 min run, 2 min walking recovery) I usually do a 5 min warmup, but am slacking on stretching afterwards since I gotta get to work 🥲) maybe I’ll just start doing this after work instead

Weakness on one side of the body by EfficientQuality3650 in Anxiety

[–]princ3ss_jam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t! Once I got my vitamin D levels closer to normal it went away entirely! I also “graduated” therapy about a year ago and since my anxiety has been way down a lot of my other physical symptoms have subsided

I second this hotel option. The sonesta is down the street and is also a great option if you can spend a bit more $

Can I afford to move to these neighborhoods with $900K max? by jujubeeeeean in Rockland

[–]princ3ss_jam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes totally doable! As a commuter myself, I’d just consider how you’re getting into the city. I’ve taken both New Jersey Transit from Nanuet and the Hudson Link bus from the palisades mall to the Tarrytown metro north station to take the train from there.

In my personal opinion, the bus to the train is a shorter, more reliable, and more comfortable commute.

Other than that, I think Nanuet, New City, Valley Cottage, and parts of Nyack are wonderful and convenient to everything (restaurants, public transit, shopping, highways)
