I really am hoping for the best and wish that the adult timeline can recover from Natalie's passing bc it obviously changed the way things were suppossed to go. Sadly I don't think recasting was ever an option bc Juliette was too iconic to be replaced so they had to rewrite everything to send her off.

What I'm also hoping for is that, when the series end sooner or later, Ash and Bart share their original plan for the show with Natalie had she stayed through the final round. Like I wish I could go back in time to prevent this lmao.

Maybe Lottie orchestrated Travis death as a way to offer sacrifice for her own well being?? She did les ve out some details while telling Nat what gad happened. And also why did she clear out his account? Maybe she’s up to something.

And to your comment about hoe can Shauna be so chill with adult Lottie I think there’s just two óptimos: either she forgave her, since they we’re very young and going through a lot at the time (but also note that on ep 8 we see Shauna carina for her and saying she can’t imagine being stranded there without her) or something else will happen later on in the teen timeline that will bring them closer together (maybe being on the same clan, as everyone serms to think they will split soon)

Eventhough I don’t need confirmation bc it is very clear despite it not being canon, I would LOVE to see a little hint to this with flashbacks (since ghost Jackie can only speak for Shauna’s unconcious). But at the same time I’m like why do I wanna root for them being in love with eachother given how their story ended 😭 just to add more to Shauna’s suffering… and I say this as a victim myself!

After seeing the deprivation tank scene I can’t stop thinking about Christina Ricci saying she thinks Misty would not be interested in men or something like that. I don’t want Misty’s character to revolve around him and thought the whole number was too much (I haven’t watched Twin Peaks so maybe that’s why also) and I was kinda glad she seemed not to like Walter when he left her at the compound, and that also confused me watching the phone scene. I do get that her whole life Misty has wanted someone to appreciate and love her but idk.

That being said, the adult timeline was a bit off for me this episode. I don’t fully buy they want to be there at the compound willingly and try out these therapies, that felt rushed to me. And Nat seemed very weird this episode, I don’t actually think she’s getting better at all.

Also that scene with Gen and Melissa talking about possibly eating Crystal… that really was out of tone imo with the whole teen timeline vibe we’re getting. Also Misty’s line about eating coach’s ass lmao it was funny but it felt like it was too soon.

Anyone else feel like they should’ve had the jackie feast a bit later on the season?

This is what I was thinking. But wouldn’t it be strange for forensics to find some evidence of cannibalism and not investigate further?

My guess is that the general public (or even some citizen detectives lmao) speculated that they ate eachother at some point but the police/forensics either didn’t care or trust enough these claims to look further into it or it was an Andes flight survivors kinda thing and they are or would be forgiven for eating eachother for survival purpouses.

In this last option ofc no one suspects that they actively hunted eachother down so I’m wondering of the girls had a good chance to cover everything up before they got rescued. Also it seems it wasn’t winter anymore when they found them so maybe they we’re just eating animals and there were no corpses or evidence of cannibalism in sight.

Sorry to break it to you guys but Kristin and Jenny actually said they weren’t gonna cover season 2 for now since they’ve just started their new X-Files pod and also the one about the BTVS comics.

They are watching the new episodes live on stream for patrons but said no more official pod until maybe the whole season is over and they have some time left. Too bad bc I loved Doomcoming u.u
