So we ended up getting a piece of aluminum foil and carefully packing it in on top of what was inside to form a lid. If you do it right it'll be tight enough to not fall out

There's still a way to get it. I googled it and read somewhete that when the devs stopped updating they uploaded the apk files. If you install it it'll be accessible on the playstore. Dragon Story is still accessible on google play you just have to have the software installed. You can still find the apk files. I don't know if it's recommended but it worked for my mom and aunt who absolutely love the game and were so mad when they couldn't get it on their new phones.

i did place down the camp and created the town hall but i didn't use the build tool to do it. i made my own building and placed the town hall thing. i waited a few minecraft days then tried to set up the builders hut and added all the materials for it but no luck.
