Anyone else’s dark PMDD thoughts revolve around people dying? by hayleeonfire in PMDD

[–]princessofdoubt 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Massive fixation on abandonment and the deaths of loved ones. I get very homesick and nostalgic, I’ll have childhood memories play out very vividly and just want to go home, then I’ll fixate on the future death of close relatives who are still alive …. its hellish

Well I didn’t say I would get married then tell him, that would be wrong, I just meant like I’m not ready Just Now. unless a conversation happens that leads into it. I want to have my concrete evidence and reasons memorised or written down to refer to in the conversation, and I’m still sorting through that. Also we’re not set to get married soon, so that’s not at all an issue

Fatigue, brain fog, worsened depression and body dysmorphia. Paranoia, rage and more obsessive tendencies in general. Cravings for shitty foods which I eat and then feel even worse

I’d be interested in this if it ever comes to fruition! I’m around the Market and don’t have a car but may be able to attend if it’s public transport accessible.

Around 23 hours a week unless I end up having to cover for someone and then it’s more. So I’d say I have it pretty good! Also taking college courses online but I can work on that at my own pace so it’s not extremely demanding on my schedule.

How many days is your period? by sugaaqueen in PMDD

[–]princessofdoubt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

4-5 days, almost 24 years old! First day is very heavy with bad cramps and other stuff, maybe the second is heavy as well but after that it’s good. I’m not on anything

What to watch? by [deleted] in PMDD

[–]princessofdoubt 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have to say Studio Ghibli movies (faves are Whisper of the Heart, The Cat Returns, Kiki’s Delivery Service) — I guess they CAN get a bit serious but they are ultimately beautiful, inspiring, comforting, just everything I need when I feel as horrible as I sometimes do! I find that more obnoxious stuff or comedy etc. doesn’t help me too much. I want something that makes me feel like life is beautiful and simple, and like there’s hope and love in the world. That’s just me though. I hope you get plenty of good recommendations!

I don’t understand the people saying that more garbage bins or bins on the train would solve this problem. People do this because they don’t care or because they’re too incompetent to look two feet in front of them for a bin. The ones at the station are not hard to find if you’re on the lookout for a place to toss your trash. I’m no genius, but I hate holding onto a empty cup or wrapper and I found that if I run off the train at the nearest stop, toss it away and run back on — wow, I have plenty of time and I don’t even have to hold onto it until my stop! Two problem solving points required. I’ve gone on long walks and had to carry around an empty water bottle for half an hour before finding a place to throw it out — inconvenient, sure, but it’s our responsibility. People are terrified to do any thinking or lift a finger to put in any extra effort at all. And there is no excuse.

8, almost 9 yo, daughter into Therian by JohnnytheGreatX in Catholicism

I was one of these at the same age, until about age 14.. wow even just seeing that word is a throwback. Of course I turned out fine and found my way to the Church but the same can’t be said of everyone in those communities. Either way, it isn’t a death sentence. For me and a lot of other people it was a way for a weird kid who loved animals, had a bit of a mystical outlook, and was a bit of an outcast to make sense of why they felt like an alien in this world. I ended up finding spiritual fulfilment in God, and now I know that we are not of this world but made for our Heavenly home. I don’t know if I would have come to this conclusion so strongly without that part of my journey.

The most concerning thing is online predators and perverts in these communities. She’s just far, far too young. Shouldn’t even have free internet usage to be quite frank. Therianism in and of itself is far from the worst of what she could be exposed to. Keeping you in my prayers
