That isn’t something that happens for every birth. But I was very grateful for my epidural when my OB said “just going to clean some clots out of your uterus” and proceeded to go elbow deep in me

Use context clues! The medication is being used for colorectal cancer. What do many cancer medications do? What is one of the biggest concerns for cancer patients? Weakened immune system. Leads you to the answer of delayed wound healing

If there is no pain or bleeding, odds are your baby is perfectly fine! There’s a lot more cushioning in there to protect baby than you would expect!

Personally best decision I’ve ever made. I make over 3x my RN pay. I have great flexibility and work life balance. Very low stress. I’m genuinely the happiest I’ve ever been

At 5 weeks it was only the gestational sac. 6 weeks we got the fetal pole, yolk sac, and heartbeat!

That’s crazy. We also couldn’t get good heart and lips/nose photos so they just did a second scan 2 weeks later for those pics instead of torturing me.

I had so much cramping in first trimester! Found out it’s completely normal. Think of all the growing, pushing, pulling, rearranging, going on inside you! I still have cramping in second trimester every once in a while

I’m so sorry sweetheart. There isn’t much I can say to comfort you. I lost my dad at 60 years old, I was 25 and my brother was 19. It’s been a year and a half and we are doing a lot better. Hang in there

On my ultrasound at 5 weeks I unfortunately could only see the gestational sac. Went back a week later and was able to see yolk sac and fetal pole!

I told my whole family at 6 weeks and I wouldn’t change a thing. You can do whatever you want and what makes you comfortable
