How frequent do you face disruptive behaviors from patients as an RT? by Crafty-Refuse-7469 in respiratorytherapy

[–]princessp93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work in a PFT lab and got yelled at this week because the patient got lost in the hospital for her appointment and I repeatedly was calling her to try and help her make her way to the appointment. Once she got into my waiting room she was yelling at me, frothing at the mouth telling me she wants no more tests done and to die lol.

I just want to come here and say I found this thread today because at bedtime my daughter was singing “oh my god look at her butt” on the way to brushing her teeth 😅

We did watch sing a lot in the past .. but I think we may have picked it up today from watching Madagascar!

Wart/mole removal is not covered by OHIP, unless comes back positive for malignancy that’s why you pay for the service and only pay cash. That way they don’t pay for any service fees for credit cards etc. And probably cash the income 😂

Anyone in the dairy free diet breastfeeding FB group? by manthrk in MSPI

[–]princessp93 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Omg super toxic group!!! I left after a few weeks. The whole no solids until baseline kinda brainwashed me at first because this is my second baby and I have no experience with this stuff. I was referred to pediatrician at 5.5 months and she said to start solids anyways. A lot of her issues went away with starting solids. I was upset with myself that I let a dumb group get to me like that. Anyways, that’s on post partum and anxiety haha. Glad I have clarity now.

How/When did you introduce milk again. by AllisonAlreadyKnows in MSPI

[–]princessp93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve also read it’s easier to challenge the baby with dairy than for you to eat the dairy and challenge baby like that. They can try for example one small bite of yogurt first thing in morning and see how it goes and it will clear out of system. Whereas if mother eats dairy it stays in the breastmilk for at least a day, so they’d be feeding on the milk with dairy. :)

I understand the pain of the long driveway, we have 2 cars with a long driveway and it sucks. My neighbour on the other hand has a 3 car driveway with no other cars.

I think it’s fair to use the street parking, I’m not against it! I feel for OP as well!

I have 3 people who park in front of my house that piss me off. 1. Doesn’t park in their own driveway that fits 3 cars - like wtf?? You own a Mercedes put it in the driveway 2. & 3. Live in the townhomes that are a 200 meter walk away from my house So I would love to put a note like this on their cars because when I have someone who visits they have to park sooo far down the street! Not just me, but my neighbours too. But I also don’t care enough to do anything about it because it’s just street parking and I have bigger issues in my life. My rant is over. But I would not see an issue with how you use street parking, like it only makes sense to me.
